I heard of this fan game from some friends on Skype that is essentially a re-imagined version of Mega Man II where Quint is the main character, and they suggested using my Mega Man II GB Remade soundtrack in place of the game's music (which is, itself, remixed audio from Mega Man II). I first played this game yesterday, so don't expect me to be quite as good as I am at normal Mega Man games. It's pretty fun, so go try it out yourself! I'm going to include an upload for the .ogg files necessary for you to play this on your machine too. - Hry

The way that Quint works as a playable character here pretty much showcases what the boss fights against him could've been.

I feel that this game is what Mighty Number 9 should have been, at least as far as the dash mechanic goes. And I'll never say no to a double jump.

The truth about why Quint was too easy in Mega Man 2 GB:
He was actually holding back the entire time, as if he killed his past self, he would ultimately cease to exist.

Yes, this is easily my favorite part of this game. You get into that room and think, "oh come on!" and use crash bomb once and realize oh yeah, it's an area of effect attack now.

I guess I forgot that, even though he's the future Mega Man, albeit tampered with by Wily, he's still Mega Man.
They did a decent job of remixing the MMII soundtrack for this game, but I mean them no disrespect when I say it hardly comes close to you. Your mixes are a treat to listen to.

I have to say that Quints Revenge was truly epic and I had a blast watching it too the end. I guess if this was a Capcom-made game released back in 1988 or 1991, I would've been good at this (at 12) but fast forward to 38 years old, too damn old and it's too hard on my fingers lolz. But I still downloaded this game and play it from time to time but yeah all too complex for me (which I can really appreciate) and too think I used to be so good at MM 2/3 back in the day till my age/reflexes betrayed me. Everything bout this game is so great and that music (Boss battles/Wily Themes!!!) were truly epic! Thank you for reviving old time memories of youth. This game is a fan MM dark horse winner in my book!!!

Ever since I saw Quint for the first time (MM8BDM and this), I thought he was wearing an eye patch… still can’t get it out of my head though.

I love the ending when Dr. Light is super old and bald and Quint goes back to being Rock Light.

The editing on the boss theme specifically. Instead of starting it with the rising notes, you started it on the falling notes for the _Quint's Revenge_ version of your music.
Trust me, I wasn't trying to say _I_ somehow inspired the original VRC6 remake a year ago. Just the editing on that one song.

Megaman 3 has some really underrated themes, especially in the castle stages.
Man these clocks in the end just made me think that wily ruined the world forever. Like, because of him, there was maverick wars, elf wars and more.

I do have a theory on how Quint was made. like not just the future Megaman was used but the remains of Future Protoman seeing in that timeline his powercell finally broke and his body was put into the robot museum. so both Wily's stole the remains and combined them with Future Megaman thinking it would give him the upper hand on Past Megaman. but as we can see Quint held back and here we can see they where right on the upper hand.
So in a way Rock's(Megaman) and Blue's(protoman) Personalities in a way mixed as well. and when going back to his time, he continues to protect the future and keep the peace as long as he can.

That's such a nice ending though, our fully redeemed "Evil weird" Mega Man returning to his own family and timeline again, I had no idea how much I had wanted to see that, he totally deserves it after all he went trough, and still mustered up the strength to destroy WIly, this is a fantastic redemption story
Regular Mega Man might actually not have managed to pull it off himself, lacking the speed power-ups and whatnot
