Blade Runners: One Man Destroys EVERY SINGLE ULEZ Camera In His London Borough
Vložit
- čas přidán 3. 10. 2023
- Three arrests have been made after a group of criminals who call themselves the Blade Runners destroyed nearly every single camera in a single London borough. are waging a war against the controversial ULEZ expansion in London. These saboteurs are tearing down, vandalising, and even stealing cameras installed by TfL to enforce the new rules.
A TfL spokesperson said: “Vandalism is unacceptable and all incidents on our network are reported to the police for investigation. Criminal damage to ULEZ cameras or vehicles puts the perpetrators at risk of prosecution and injury, while simultaneously risking the safety of the public. Camera vandalism will not stop the ULEZ operating London-wide. All vandalised cameras are repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
“We have an extensive camera network which is sufficient to support the effective operation of the scheme. Anyone driving a non-compliant vehicle within the expanded zone will be detected and we advise everyone to check whether their vehicle is compliant and to consider the various support that is available to help transition to greener modes of transport.”
The spokesperson added: “Unfortunately, our contractors have been subjected to threats and abuse while carrying out their duties so they are advised to record any issues on mobile phones to deescalate conflict and if necessary, record evidence for police investigations. It is due to the unacceptable criminal abuse and intimidating behaviour against them that these contractors have worn face coverings. TfL is working with the police to catch those responsible for vandalism and criminal activity relating to ULEZ and arrests have been made.”
In an interview with talk TV, one member of the Blade Runners, who goes by the name Ben, revealed the extent of their campaign and the reasons behind their actions. Despite the risks of imprisonment, the Blade Runners are determined to continue their fight until TFL stops installing the cameras.
Ben, a father of three in his 40s, carries out what he calls "unpaid voluntary work" several days a week. Under the cover of darkness, he disables and destroys the number plate recognition devices installed across London. In the Bromley area alone, Ben claims to have caused a near total blackout of enforcement cameras. By removing cameras from traffic lights and cutting brackets, the Blade Runners have made a significant impact on the ULEZ enforcement system.
Support for the Blade Runners appears to be widespread, with many hailing them as heroes. Ben insists that they are the voice of the people, reflecting the public's frustration with the ULEZ expansion. The Blade Runners' membership has grown significantly since the £12.50 a day levy was rolled out. They view themselves as a pack of lone wolves, united by a common goal to combat what they perceive as an unfair and unjust system.

The pollution, the noise, the inconvenience, it's all a bit much. Thankfully, a majority of Londoners agree! Polls clearly show about 60% in favour of ULEZ. Why is it only London that people are going nuts? There are literally hundreds of low emission zones across the country
Hats off. Need more of this, especially in Birmingham.
We should crowd fund to pay the blade runner's bail and fines.
Excellent idea.
Anyone remember a time when the central/ local government used to work for the people rather than just seeing us as a cash cow?
Not really, but I can only remember the last 50 years or so. Even as a child I can remember there was little respect for local government. My mother used to work for the Local Council and all her stories from work were about incompetence, power games, waste and petty bureaucracy. I have seen nothing to make me think things have improved.
That old fashioned idea, faded away back in the last century. Our elected leaders are beholden to C40 cities and the WEF.
@@jimhallinsn1023And agenda 2030, mass immigration, surveillance, loss of freedoms and loss of sovereignty, the politicians are selling out the British people.
Only tyranny will compel law-abiding citizens to go to such extremes.
You wouldn't know what Tyranny was, even if it smacked you in the face. Go live in an actual repressive country where people are killed for having an unpopular opinion, then come back and tell me ULEZ is tyranny.
Good for you! Keep up the good work!
This tyranny needs to end, i am glad people are standing up for themselves
"But... These cameras are legal." Yeah, well, slavery was legal at one point, so was torture. Just because the government condones something doesn't make it morally correct.
@@mind5403mmm meat I fancy a burger or maybe a thick juicy steak 😋
It doesn't make it morally correct, but you've still gotta abide by the law. Else, go fight the government. Not worth it in my eyes
@@keifer7813 That's highly likely to be exactly what will happen if the 'government' don't behave themselves !!..... When people mention 'criminals' , they are looking in the wrong direction !
It's not even the government its one bloody jumped up mayor -_-

That man is a hero‼️
I wish I had the bottle to stand up and make a difference to what is going on in this country. A true unspoken hero. Everyone out there doing great work, please know you speak for the public.
How many times is she gonna ask “ are you prepared to go to prison “ are shoplifters, are car thieves, are politicians!!! It’s time the British people fought back.. and things won’t get any better if No Balls Sunak doesn’t stop the boats either!!!
Well done to the Blade Runners, serving the community one camera at a time!
Enjoy the higher council taxes. That's the only consequence for their actions.
@@LolaKatros-mf6tia penny compared to what they cost
@@LolaKatros-mf6tithe council tax is already unaffordable to many working families and goes up every year despite the council doing sod all with it so it will remain unaffordable either way taking food from children’s mounts and this extra cost (ulez) is simply a money making scheme crippling the working class again. It does not make sense and it is not about clean air. This is being done when prices of everything is going up weekly and this has destroyed many working people. The only ones ok are the rich and those living on multiple benefits - they are the ones who have disposable income and they are the ones not affected. Just working people again. My dad has worked all his life yet now cannot go out because he cannot afford to replace his car, this no doubt will impact his mental health and many others. We do not have enough public transport for all these extra people who now depend on it.
In New York city you are under constant surveillance 24/7 as you walk out your door and come back. Cameras are EVERYWHERE.
you are the resistance❤
I'm in Germany, but even I'm cheering on these folk. ULEZ is absolutely unjust to the people hit hardest. Big up the Blade Runners!
And we all stand with the farmers ❤🇬🇧
You are not in Germany, because ULEZ means EURO4 or better.... So EXACTLY same emissions limit as IS IN FORCE for WHOLE Germany FROM 2005..... So if you're IN Germany then every car on the road you can see has emission standards with accordance with ULEZ..... So, yes for last 19 YEARS you could register ONLY ULEZ capable cars in WHOLE germany...
@@IvanNedostal I have absolutely no idea why you're going on about EURO4, I was simply stating, as an outsider not in the UK and simply watching the news - I find it unfair. I wasn't trying to make a comparison to German EURO regulations.
... and yes, I am in Germany, but thanks for making the assumption that I'm not.
@@AnfecsIan I provided you with clear real life example which shows you that it is not unjust. And i was writing that ULEZ is minimum standard for whole EU from 2005, and whole EU is not unjust, whole EU is nicely prospering. So (not) prospering in UK has nothing to do with emission standards, which are stricter in whole EU and some US states that require them.
@@IvanNedostal Okay dude, whatever you say ✌️
When the law stops working as intended and protecting civilians, and starts aiding tyranny, its the duty of the citizens to act.
Commonwealth nations have been slaughtering millions of people every year for the last century through arms deals, famines, pollution and much much more but only see evil as "tyranny" once it affects us personally...
We don't care about what's right, we care about what we can get away with.

If the general public supports you but the govt seeks to prosecute you then you know you're doing the right thing.
Very well put.
Agreed this dude is a legend
I had some questions for all of you:
Firstly, do you live in London?- if not your opinion is entirely irrelevant.
Why do you hate the ULEZ? Is it just because it is made by a left wing politician?
Why don’t you care that between 4000 and 9000 people die prematurely each year in London due to air pollution?
Why don’t you care that air pollution caused ailments cost the NHS over 1.5 billion pounds a year in London alone?
Why don’t you care that the ULEZ has already reduced NOx pollution in London by 26%?
Why don’t you care that more than 200,000 people with asthma will benefit from the ULEZ expansion with less frequent and severe attacks?
Could you even understand these statistics and did you even read my whole comment?
Many of the general public do not support disgusting vandals like this.

It's great that the public are not dobbing them in, anyone that lives near one of these cameras should watch out for them and offer sanctuary if the sirens are heard!!
