I have been profiled a few times at the airport. It's frustrating when you answer their questions yet they begin to ask weird questions to further detain you. I almost missed a connecting flight. I now allow 3 hours between flights just for clearing immigrations.

This is a bit off topic, but this is similar to what happened to me. While visiting a friend, in prison, I almost got in trouble for going to the restroom, without asking for permission. Evidently this violated prison rules. Well, now I know.

Its actually smart to get dressed up for flights. If the flight is overbooked and they are looking for some people to upgrade into first class so they can fit everyone on board they will approach the people who look to best dressed and calm etc. Idea being that they'd fit in with the other passengers and not make any scenes or fuss.
I know cause I've been in this situation, its surprisingly easy to get free upgrades too ya know.

I think she had a lanaguage issue. The officers speak quite quickly with some UK regional accents and I find it hard in Antigua to understand their version of English.

I felt awful for the woman from jamaica. With that very old suitcase, you can tell she is poor. I’m afraid she could be the victim of sex trafficking given that she doesn’t know the person who bought her ticket and that same person has been convicted of trafficking a person before “an asylum seeker”. They should have investigated that further.
