Wilder Girls is incredible. I really need to watch Yellowjackets it seems, since I've been reeling since The Wilds got cancelled.
It’s darker and has a supernatural (maybe) element to it! The premise is somewhat similar but they are very different.
Well, about weird nature there is Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer, which I loved, so I should read some of your list.

Okay, question. Is there a plot to annihilation? Because when people talk about it it always seems like it’s more vibes than story type of novel.
@@BooksWaffles Weeell... you get to know the main character, but not what is happening in the area where she and other scientist are studying the nature. And weird things happen to them? So, yes, vibes and mistery, lol.

One day I'll read Sawkill girls, is what I tell myself whenever I see it mentioned. I still haven't :') I also still want to read Beauty Queen by Libba Bray (?) which sounds like it could fit onto the list ✨️
This is my very subjective opinion so take it with a grain of salt: skip Beauty Queen, read Sawkill Girls. I disliked the writing style in Beauty Queen so much. It’s too quirky. I couldn’t continue on.
