The worst thing Misty did for me was breaking the black box of the plane. She is the reason everything happened after that.
I mean technically yeah…but I’m also glad she did because I like watching Yellowjackets lmao.
I thought this as well but after doing some research, the only time the black box emits a "gps" signal is when the plane crashes and the black box is submerged in water. So ultimately, even though Misty thought she was doing something nefarious, it meant nothing in the whole scheme of things.

@@cable7152 Nope, the dates don't match. Callie is 18-ish, and Shauna's baby would be 25 now. Also, they've been teasing lately that it's a boy. My guess is that the baby won't survive unfortunately.
@steffie that's right, Lottie said "he" in last night's episode, wow, what the heck happens to this baby. Maybe it comes out a chicken like her nightmare. 🤣
@@steffie17 Callie is in college and the actress is 28. So I always assumed the baby was Callie until Lottie started calling the baby a boy.

@@haggisa it's incredible isn't it! I personally think it's one of Sir Peter Jackson's greatest films . Leaves you feeling some type of way . Melanie and Kate were phenomenal in it, I recommend looking up the real story . It's almost exactly the same as the movie. He did well showing what happened and how Pauline was actually a victim of the men her mother allowed into the bed and breakfast.
It's impressive but most British and Aussie/Kiwi actors can pull off a "standard" mid-west American accent. What would be mindblowing is a British/Aussie person pulling off some of the most esoteric American accents such as Chicago South Side, Maine, Deep South Georgia, etc.
I can’t wait to see the rescue scene, it’s gonna be insane I bet. Them going from cannibals to being home in reality should be interested and tough.

@@migratory.114 It was the Son of a Binge podcast some weeks ago, and maybe 15-20 minutes before the end? The interviewer asks her to talk about each of her castmates, and that was what she shared about Lauren - how calm, generous, and supportive she was about the Sharing Shack scenes we see in eps 8 and 9.

Everyone praises the teenage cast, but I just LOVE the adult one as well. I literally grow up watching them and I love the addition of Lauren to the cast. Loved her since Six Feet Under. Loved her on Servant and now she joined one of the best tv shows airing right now ❤

My fan theory is that they were never rescued. There are two different story telling tones between the past and present. Both contain the dark suspense element, but the present is also goofy like a 90s slasher at times. It's almost like the present is told by an unreliable narrator.
