- The greatest mystery of all is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Catholic church has been built off the faith that Jesus was crucified for our sins, died and was buried, then on the third day he rose from the dead and visited his Apostles. What really happened on that third day that gave birth to an entire religion? Find out right now!

Most historians believe that Jesus did exist. You don't have to believe in God nor on Christianity, but by now we are almost 100% sure that Jesus was a real person here on earth.
Now...I can/will agree to that.
that's fine. did he do magic for real and rise from the dead along with the neighborhood? I think that's the pressing issue?
@@Dare5358 Nobody can say for sure. That part boils down to your faith. It is a fact that Jesus did exist, according to many historians, but whether or not he was actually the son of God or not depends on your faith.
@@newmoonwithface like the video states, there is stronger evidence for Christ existing than someone like Alexander the Great. You do believe Alexander existed, yes?

To think that God had to punish his "son" for our sins in order to forgive us is a weird and sadistic fantasy. Are you really so guilt-ridden that you can only soothe your conscience with a fantasy based on unresolved parent/child conflicts?
@@vitus.verdegast Youâre misinformed. There is no conflict between God and Jesus. In fact, they are one and the same. He came to earth to show how to aim towards living a perfect life. And he took the suffering of humanityâs sins in order we may be relieved of the punishment of ours as long as we claim him as savior! Be blessed

Try this:
Don't ask if it is true because your meat sack of a shell will have a bias against God, ask "WHY is it true" and the thing inside you that drives you will help you find the answers.
God didn't sacrifice his son, like a good father to all of us, God sacrificed himself for his children.
and then just ask yourself "Why is that the greatest act ever committed? Could I do that?"
The more you read into "why is it true" you realize you have so much to learn.
I am here to tell you, that there is a secret knowledge that the whole world is trying to turn you away from and if hearing about that secret knowledge makes you angry, you should find out why.
@@emptymagliam You don't care what's true, all you care about are your own infantile emotional yearnings, so you choose to believe what pleases you. But there is no reason to fear reality, we live in a beautiful universe, only your religious leaders have trained you to think of it as something awful from which you need protection. To religious conservatives truth is merely a matter of personal preference, that's why they are attracted to egomaniacal liars like Trump who give you permission to indulge in a dreamworld of "alternative facts."
@@emptymagliam A religion gets its validity from its philosophical insights, not from claims about specific events, especially bizarre supernatural events that supposedly happened in the distant past for which there is no evidence beyond ancient writings by anonymous authors who were prone to the hyperbolic style of their era.
I have been a Christian for 15 years and over that 15 years I have learned all these things and it took books upon books lectures upon lectures to get all of this that youâve laid out in 30 minutes incredible video we all appreciate your thoughtfulness and attention, love all your videos stumbled on this one and was curious what you were going to touch on It was so refreshing to see the evidence presented so thoroughly
Youâve seem to have spent a lot of time on this subject, so would you be able to help me understand one of the Christian claims. See Iâm an atheist and see a lot of people using the empty tomb as an argument like in this video. However I have not been able to find any independent evidence of a tomb whatsoever. Itâs not found anywhere else in the NT other than the gospels and itâs not corroborated by secular/theologically independent sources from the time. Additionally the notion of a proper burial for a crucifixion victim goes against what we know was standard Roman practice.
With this all said would you happen to know any evidence of a tomb in the first place let alone an empty one?
@@arcticpangolin3090 why do you need specifically evidence of the tomb in other sources? What about all the other evidence? Even if you couldn't find evidence for the tomb outside the Bible that still doesn't discredit all the other evidence.
Btw I haven't researched the tomb so I can't answer you, however my statement still stands. God bless
@@Him-Him_Fruit
I would like evidence because, as I said in the original post, the whole idea of a tomb burial is contradicted by the standard procedure for cruxifixction victims. This means that this would be an irregular event and thus would need more evidence to be rationally accepted. This would be a special case and Iâm asking what reason we have to accept this as historical?
And what âother evidence?â Because itâs a claim only found in the gospels. And, since the gospels/the gospel narratives are not independent, this is a single source. We donât have any independent corroboration even within the bible. This is something I explicitly said in my initial comment.
Iâm sorry but it seems that you didnât actually read my initial comment very carefully. This can be seen in your insistence on the âother evidenceâ when I explicitly pointed out a lack of any independent corroboration.
@arcticpangolin3090 mark 15:43 "43 Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the Council, who was also himself looking for the kingdom of God, took courage and went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus." The tomb of Joseph of Arimathea is very well known. Like the scripture says, he was a member of council. Later in the chapter, we see that's where they put Jesus's body. We know where the tomb is.

Youâre literally just quoting where the claim that I asked evidence for comes from. This is like me asking for evidence that Voldemort exists and you quoting the first Harry Potter book. You quoted the claim, now whereâs the evidence to corroborate it?

As a Christian, I am pleasantly surprised with the way you guys handled this subject. This video went much differently than expected. Thank you. Be blessed!
I'm not surprised. This is a very biased pro-Christian viewpoint on par with Ancient Aliens.
â@@rhamlet5290 Exactly. I just pointed out in another comment that the video poster employs Ancient Aliens tactics (mixing statements by serious scholars about mundane claims and what people just believed back then with statements made but nut jobs, including the video poster him/herself, about alleged "facts" revolving around the supposed resurrection for which there are possible alternative explanations that are far more likely, given what we know about human nature). This gives the video as a whole the aura of critical respectability, which works very well on people with a bias view on the topic.
@@NeedsEvidence I don't think Ray Comfort, William Lane Craig, Josh McDowell, Francis Collins, or any other apologist would have done any better. I was curious how "neutral" they would make this, but this is literally nothing but Christian apologetics.
I'm disappointed for two reasons: 1. It would be interesting to see a truly neutral look at the Christian claims and historicity of Jesus 2. Hidden evangelism always annoys me
I wouldn't consider myself a mythicist nor would I consider myself a naturalist, but I'd say that I'm practically both. The way I see it, the Jesus of the Bible is so far divorced from whoever that inspired that character, assuming there was an individual(s) at all, that it makes no sense to say this character is historical. Instead of discussing real issues like that, they just write it off as "well, if you don't accept Jesus, you can't accept all these other figures, either!" There are huge differences there and it also wouldn't bother me if we found out Alexander the Great never actually existed.
@@rhamlet5290 I agree. Every point he made has been said to death by Catholic/Christian apologists. My ex who was Catholic and got very into Catholic apology (a major reason we didnât work out) parroted every single one of these points. It means nothing to say historians agree Jesus existed if said historians are (probably)Christian or raised in a predominantly Christian society. There really isnât much âevidenceâ outside the Bible and Christianity that Jesus was real. A couple of guys around that time saying Jesus was a guy theyâd heard of doesnât negate this fact. This video basically does nothing but give credence to the idea that a manâs spirit rose from the dead and that magic does indeed exist đ also, the idea that these books could have been written with near perfect accuracy 25-65 years after the alleged events took place just because people were really into story telling at the time is preposterous. Story tellers are known to embellish. Itâs what they do. And youâre right, thereâs a very big difference between other historical figures and Jesus in that people wouldnât be so motivated to fabricate stories of Alexander the Great as they would be motivated to make up stories about Jesus. There are biases at play when it comes to the existence of a supposed God that donât exist when youâre talking about some kings or warriors of the past. Come on now, infographics, do better.
@@vvieites001 so your argument is that one side is completely biased while downplaying the existing evidence. Sure the eyewitnesses outside the Bible donât 100% prove it, but it still is valid. Saying an argument is invalid due to them being biased is just absurd. It damages the credibility, sure, but doesnât debunk it. Also, atheists have biases as well, especially among those who think they are superior to Christianâs.
For me I think the reason Christianity became the worlds biggest religion is because of what happened on the Cross at Calvary. To remind people when Jesus was pieced in the side with a spear the roman centurion Longinius had his face covered in water and blood, this was an extremely strange phenomenon for obvious reasons. This shook him to his core so much that he became technically the worlds first Christian and was literally Baptized in the blood and water of Jesus, another Prophecy he foretold. The world also had a terrible violent earthquake and the sky went dark during the daytime for nearly 3 hours. This entire sequence of events is the reason why the religion exploded like it did. Imagine seeing that happen in person. it was probably the only thing the people who lived during that time would about.
I think it exploded when the Roman Empire adopted Christianity.
â@@bahok94 he described the reason why roman Empire accepted Christianity.
But what made them to adopt the resurrection?
The Roman soldier wasn't the first christian. Christians were first called christians in Antioch, before then, Christians were anyone who believed and followed "the way", those who believed in Jesus as the Messiah. He also want baptized since baptism is full emersion in water based on the baptisms we see taking place in the bible.
What prophecy are you referring to?
Yourw right tho about what you said about the earthquake and the darkness thing. That did make a centurion soldier who was watching say "truly this was the Som of God"

I used to dismiss the idea, or at least the 'spiritual' significance, of Jesus for the lack of concrete evidence and the necessary contradictions to the laws of physics. That was until He visited me and showed me the difference between logic and faith. He explained to me that the two are not reconcilable in the human mind so to try to prove or disprove one with the other is not possible and an attempt to do so will inevitably lead you to a false conclusion... The difference, He explained, is that faith, by its definition, must come without evidence. EVIDENCE GOD EXISTS
1. Order and design demand an intelligent mind. The order and design of the cosmos points to an intelligent mind. If I asked you how a building got there you'd obviously say someone obviously built it. A meal demands a chef, clothing demands a designer, a painting demands a painter, etc. Order does not come about by chance. Accidents produce chaos, accidents do not produce order. A shirt doesn't come together as a result of a tornado sweeping through a cotton field. The same thing goes for a human body, obviously. One single cell has the information of 30 sets of Britannica encyclopedia. Densely packed information requires an intelligent mind and design points to a designer and a raitonal mind.
2. Charles darwin stated if a single cell is irreducibly complex, the whole idea of evolution by chance and fate falls apart. We've come to find out a single cell is irreducibly complex with many examples. For instance, an eye ball can't evolve from stage to stage and gradually become a whole eye ball. If something is missing in the eye, it isn't going to work. The living cell is another example. This exhibits that evolution is false.
3. Under any circumstances no matter what DNA cannot create itself. Direct and clear evidence of a creator. DNA is coherent information. The amount of information densely packed in the DNA of a single cell demands an intelligent mind. Every time you are confronted with densely packed information, there's got to be an intelligent mind.
4. If evolution is true, that means evolution had to of happened to not one but two of every single species on the face of the earth. Two monkeys, two elephants, two rabbits, two dogs, two cats, two fish, two birds, two horses, etc. If that were true, how did that baby monkey, dog, bird, etc. sustain life on its own as in infant? Did it hunt all on it's own when it couldn't even walk?
5. Moral absolutes demand a moral law giver. If God does not exist, objective moral values and duties do not exist. However, objective moral values and duties do exist. Therefore, God does exist. Every atheist I know looks into the face of a person that is doing "wrong" and says, "You SHOULD not do that". When atheist say "should" they're appealing to a standard outside of us and acting as if it's real. The only way it could be real is if there is some God who created and defined it. Atheists cannot live out moral relativism and there is maybe not a ton, but there are undoubtedly some morals that are absolute. One of the most ironic things about moral relativists is they make a truth claim that everything is relative, which is an objective claim. Which is totally hypocritical and self defeating.
6. The discovery of the big bang in the 1960s shows the universe is not eternal. Which means it has a beginning. Everything has a beginning has a cause. The universe has a beginning, therefore the universe has a cause. The best explanation would be an uncaused cause which would have to be God. Whatever created it had to be big enough, powerful enough and outside of space and time, to create something inside space and time. Which would have to be God. Nothing comes from nothing and nothing ever could. The universe could not have exploded out of nothing, let alone with such incredible precision. You don't get order out of chaos. Steven hawking has noted the following. "The universe would not decrease in the expansion rate one second after the big bang by only one part in one hundred thousand, million, million". This lead Hawking to conclude it would be very difficult to explain why the universe should have just begun in just this way, except as an act of God who intended to create beings like us.
7. The anthropic principal. Life is balanced on a razors edge. Any closer to the sun we fry any further away, we freeze. Here's another example. If you changed the gravitational force by just one part in ten to the forty, nothing would exist. Whats one part in ten to the forty? Stretch a tape measure across the entire known universe, set gravity at one inch anywhere on that tape measure and if you move the force of gravity one inch in either direction, we don't exist. The earth's rotation of twenty four hours is just right. If it was a little bit more or a little bit less, we wouldn't be here. The axial tilt of twenty three and a half degrees is just right. If you change that just a smidge then we would not be here. If jupiter wasn't in its current orbit we would be bombarded with space materials. Jupiter acts as a cosmic vacuum cleaner for earth and attracts all comic space materials to it rather than earth.
8. Life never comes from non life. That is the biggest blind leap of faith ever imaginable. To believe life comes from non life is incredible. Never once in my experience have I ever seen life come from non life. All of my observations tell me, plant life comes from plant life, animal life comes from animal life and human life comes from human life. The animate does not come from the inanimate. It absolutely never happens. Never one time in your experience have you seen life come from non life, ever.
9. If there is no God, that means all of reality is reduced to matter and energy. You don't get love from matter and energy. If reality is only matter and energy it is impossible to have a free will. Because a free will means there is a me that goes beyond the complex chemical reactions in my brain. If there is no God, there is no free will because all I am is a complex chemical reaction; and you do not get a free will out of a complex chemical reaction. There is a soul, a personhood, a me, a conscience, that has the ability to reflect, possess emotion, and have a free will to decide what to do.
10. Jesus Christ's death and resurrection is evidence for God. The majority of Jesus Christ's apostles got crucified/murdered not over a belief, they died for what they claim to have SEEN. Jesus Christ risen from the dead. A roman guard went up to them almost one after another and said, acknowledge Caesar as lord and live or maintain that Jesus is Lord and be killed. And they were all killed; most were crucified. Psychology studies have shown people do not die over what they know to be a lie. After Jesus Christ rose from the dead, he stayed on earth for 40 days and appeared to over 500 people. Paul wrote letters to the churches in the area and told them to come talk to the eye witnesses. Which hundreds were still around in the area.
11. Emperor Guang Wu's writings about Jesus Christ dying for our sins, being from heaven, the eclipse and the black sky, that the apostles also wrote about in the Bible. Emperor Guang Wu knew about all of this exactly when it happened and he was hundreds of thousands of miles away in east China and Christian missionaries didn't go there until decades later. There's no other explanation for this than God giving him supernatural signs.
12. The fact every civilization that has ever existed has had a drive to seek God/creator/higher being. All throughout history everyone has always thought, wondered or searched for God. It's a universal human experience.
13. Your rational mind points to a raitonal God. Because it's ludicrous to believe the raitonal comes from the irrational. That's why Charles Darwin in 1883 wrote wrote a letter to a man named Mr. Graham. He wrote, "If it's true that our minds are highly developed monkeys minds, why do we trust them to tell us the truth about reality? Would you trust the thoughts of a monkey?" He was struggling with epistemological nihilism. According to atheism you can't know anything because your mind is an accident. It comes from the irrational. It's far more reasonable to believe your mind comes from a rational being than to believe it comes from the irrational.
14. The fulfilled prophecies of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 324 prophecies with some of the earliest ones being carbon dated up to around nine hundred years before he even came to earth. Some stating how he would be crucified for our sins, rise on the third day, be born of a virgin, his ministry would mainly be in Galilee, he would be betrayed for 30 silver coins, he would be born in Bethlehem and many, many, more.
God is real. His Son Jesus Christ was a real historical figure and it's universally agreed upon by virtually every single scholar. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one will get to The Father except through him.
Jesus Christ claims to be God and here's the proof directly from scripture. Revelations 1:8, John 10:30, John 5:18, John 5:30, John 8:58, John 17:5, John 1:14, John 14:9, John 2:19, 1 Timothy 3:16, Collossians 2:9 and Collossians 1:16. If the Gospels are not trustworthy, then the Quran is false because the Quran teaches that the gospels are the inspired, perfectly-preserved, authoritative words of God. But if the Gospels are trustworthy, then the Quran is STILL false because it teaches contradictory, mutually exclusive facts about key issues. Here's some surahs and ayats that prove the quran confirms the Torah and the Gospels are inspired by allah. quran chapter and verses, 2:41, 2:89, 2:91, 2:121, 3:3-4, 3:50, 4:47, 5:46, 5:68, 6:114 and 15:9.

It's interesting because I used to think that Jesus was somehow made up and that there was likely a lot of good evidence against His existence. However, it appears that many of the cases against the Bible aren't actually great. The fact that basically all of our historical information followed the same trend and that Jesus's life is one of the most well documented if anything- really gives me a new perspective on the whole thing.
That's just not true. The external sources proving that someone like Jesus lived around that time are extremely scant, very late with regard to the alleged dates, and prove nothing about a possible divine nature. The rest are internal documents of the church which have about as much validity as those by any other religion or cult, so almost none.

I do like that he covered a lot of routes and areas but I wish he included more about how many factors and other underlying things that showed that not everything is accurate even the things that prove Jesus is just a regular dude might not be 100% accurate
The other problem people fail to realize is that to be and become a Christian in those early decades would not have been an easy worldly feat to accomplish. To have been a Christian would have meant to fundamentally and permanently alter your view of the world forever, while simultaneously facing the very real and dangerous prospect of state punishment. Again like stated in the video, men donât die for false beliefs. Men can die believing false things, but when you compound all the other aspects of Christianity at the time, you can more clearly begin to understand why this would have been very difficult to achieve without having the full conviction that what you saw and experienced was real and what your brethren saw and experienced was also real.
And we are returning to that level of trust being a requirement. God PROMISED us suffering as Believers and those who have bought the 'live your best life now' beliefs are going to find themselves in an extremely difficult place.
Men donât die for false beliefs? I think every other religion would beg to disagree. The Sikhs are a religion built from conflict. The Muslims have been fighting for centuries, from the crusades to Isis. Mormons were persecuted and murdered fairly recently.
But given your view, they must all be correct.
They died being fully convinced of false things. Idk how thatâs such a stretch
The Jews were under Roman occupation, and their religion was a messianic saviour cult. So a man came along claiming to be this prophesied figure, and the Roman empire had a network for mass spread of information. What's so difficult?

Happy Easter everyone He is Risen
I love how you included the fact that it was difficult for Jews in the first century to reconcile with the view that Jesus was not the victorious conqueror that they understood him to be, but rather a portrait of humility and meekness. It goes to show that whether you believe in Jesus or not, He was and is victorious not by means of sheer force or kingly glory, but rather by making Himself a living sacrifice and servant to others; something that He commands believers to do also. Though the world hated Him, He remained ever kind and loved unconditionally. It is such a beautiful message.
Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic.
He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on.
The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"
The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"
The sun is "The light of the World"
The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.
"He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays.
Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo.
The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.
The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.
The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes.
The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.
The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe.
In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun throug the heavens.
Christianity is ancient astrology, it's just fables about the sun.

@@DemonCore618 unrelated topic. But. For the most part, the Classical-era Greeks "believed" in their gods in a similar way to how a modern American might believe in the Constitution. They were foundational for both national identity and civic institutions, and an important ideological hook to hang all sorts of ideas on, but didn't usually play a very big role in everyday life. Everyday religious practice tended to revolve around local cults which were sometimes very different from the big Olympian deities we normally think of.
The idea that the gods were metaphors for "phenomena occurring within nature" is basically the invention of the 19th century scholar Max MĂŒller: his view was that a statement like "Zeus makes it rain" was, originally, strictly linguistically equivalent to "it is raining". This was a very influential view, though the linguistic side of it disappeared in later theorists like Andrew Lang and George Frazer, who emphasised the grounding of myths in ritual and the irrational -- though they all shared the view that myths were essentially a fantasised reinterpretation of primal sentiments that were still shared by modern "civilised" people.
This is just one of several "big schools" of thought on the nature of myths: others include the psychoanalytic interpretations of Freud and Jung, the structuralist interpretations of Dumézil and Lévi-Strauss, and the "monomyth" of Joseph Campbell. None of these monolithic theories has really stuck in modern approaches to myth, because it has become more widely recognised that myths are just too complex to be explained by any one theory. Any one of these theories might apply in some cases, but fail completely in hundreds of others.
And, on the contrary, Christianity has more social and political elements as well as people arguing for its historical validity. But, I think the biggest difference is probably time frame removed from relevancy. But also - I have no idea. This is all speculation. Thatâs a good question.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldnât take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying âwhat was that?â after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. Thatâs when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldnât deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, itâs like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasnât, and then he was, and then he wasnât. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I donât see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this canât be real, it's impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me; it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, itâs done itâs finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then Iâve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldnât have changed without faith and belief. I know what itâs like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Donât ever think youâre stuck, or life canât change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. Iâve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what weâve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

There is but one God and Jesus Christ PBUH is but one of his great prophets. Believe or not, he was not crucified in the first place, as he was actually raised to heaven by God and he will be coming back to earth in the future when God wills.
PS: If you want to be saved then believe in the one true god and do good deeds so that God may have mercy on your soul. Anything else wouldn't help you. " being saved" actually takes effort and a lot of struggle as one would expect.

@Simextra mark 13-12, you can obviously see how many children today hate their parents and reveling against them. Matthew 24:9, the many executions in countries such as China, and the amount of hate Christians get. And notice how much more hatred there is in the world, when people run away from God

I think the main question one needs to answer honestly is:
"What's more important to me: knowing the truth, or being comfortable?"
I've observed that most people just want to be comfortable. And most people I've seen who say they want the trurh, only want it to the point that borders on discomfort. If the truth gets too uncomfortable, most will stop pursuing it or abandon it altogether. Just my observations.
