- After a brief hiatus, the pros have been on track once more for round 2 of the Met Helmets Enduro World Series Val Di Fassa Trentino. With thunderstorms affecting yesterdays pro stage and more overnight rain changing conditions on familiar tracks, we're all set for a very different race! Again, along with the EWS crew we're experimenting with some more new forms of coverage in today's highlights, so please leave your feedback in the comments.

In theory, the riders have a chance to correct where they previously went wrong, and makeup time on tracks that they're now more accustomed to. But the weather is against them! Thunderstorms affected the pro stage, forcing riders to adapt to new conditions immediately for their race run, and more rain has fallen overnight making the exposed tracks more difficult to ride than last time. Congratulations to Melanie Pugin who forged herself a sizeable gap to take her seasons first win and to Jack Moir who took the debut win of his EWS career after constant improvement in his results.

highlights becoming better and better
loving the side by side comparisons and the commentary on the final stages making it feel more 'live' more labels on who is on screen might help i'm still getting used to the new kits. and more time on the times after each stage would help I'm forever pausing to work out who is where.

Amazing that you got this out on the same day! Really enjoyed the live commentary on the last stage. Only negative for me was that the Pro stage women winners didn't really get any attention/footage. I know they come down much earlier, but would have been a good chance to see/interview some different faces.

Whoever has the shiniest bike with most sponsors and budgets wins?
I thought it was down to having bigger balls and better skill, not relying on the suspension to soak up the bumps, using arms and legs to manoeuvre the bike across the transitions.
"Back in my day....." we had to milk rubber trees to repair our tyres, force cows to fart into our tyres and used deceased riders intestine to get home if we had a puncture....
This highlights and the last one both had interviews with the rider out of focus. Very distracting, turn off shit auto focus.
