Congrats to Micah!
Don't use your energy on being angry with other people's mess. People are different. Also, sometimes it may be other things behind what you see. When I was suffering from depression, where I lived was very untidy - I had no capacity mentally to tidy. I used all my strength to go to work and get through the day.

This is very true. What is interesting is decluttering and minimizing can help provide stimulated dopamine to reduce depression, but getting to that spot can be hard. Thank you for sharing your personal story. I think if someone wants to renovate and go on tv for it, and this family even got an additional room added onto the home, having so much stuff you hold onto won’t help.
