Cadillac Allante Promo 1988?

Had one of these in the late 80's. Very well built body, challenging suspension/manual hardtop were not the best Cadillac could have done. I mean at this premium price it could have had a power assisted top back in the late 80's-early 90's! And front wheel drive for a "sports car", that was so well built in Italy, yet GM let down on everything else my (p.o.v.) on bringing it to the US. Cadillac never has been successful on a premium sports car in any decade. They use to build one this decade called (till 2009 - XLR model) Premium price, average quality.
