The question that should be asked is why did Luther's weight fluctuate? What was the root psychologically as to why he ate so much, considering his diabetes?

Pretty much like his idol Aretha, food was their drug of choice. His sexuality was another, regarding relationships that either didn't work out or he felt that he was being used, he compensated by overeating. He looked his best during the _Give Me the Reason_ and _Power of Love_ era as well as 2001 when he dropped the _Take You Out_ single . And the early deaths of his older siblings (two died from diabetes and one from asthma.) who all passed within a few years of each other. Prior to that, his father passed away from diabetes when Luther was eight. And he didn't want to constantly go to a doctor to be lectured about his health.

I hate when interviewers are interviewing but they have all of the answers...why bring guest on the show if you're gonna do all the damn talking?

Would you all say that the late Rev. James Moore was another person that did not have to spend his final years the way he did and die before 50?
