So, as you might know, the animus recreates what MIGHT have happened in the past, meaning things always go the same path, but there can be minor changes, and that's why you can replay the missions in a different way. Now, every main character except for Shay knows that they didn't kill innocents at any point in their life, and that explains why you get desynchronized if you atempt to do so. In Shay's case, he aknowledges he killed civilians by "activating" Lisbon's 1755 earthquake, and since the animus only represents possibilities, it doesn't know if Shay killed more civilians after the earthquake, therefore making you able to kill civilians without desynchronizing.

Tl;dr Shay can kill civilians because the animus thinks that since Shay killed civilians in the earthquake he could have also killed civilians after the earthquake

10:11 my favorite unlogical part in game, where ezio kills much guards or thieves money from people stealthy he gets notoriety, soo guards are chasing you in city for doing that things, 2 thing you can bribe herald or kill someone who talks about assassin around city, but third point literally unlogical posters which shows assassin and says 50000 money for that someone, mostly appearing on roofs or 3 level walls, or literally in places where people not even live, but best is posters showing up on roofs most of time

The funny part about the second meme is that it's actually a misconception. Da Vinci didn't design the modification as it actually came from Altair's codex.
Meaning Altair is the one who actually designed the modification so that assassins wouldn't have to lose their fingers anymore.

Well for the modified that happened to the hidden blade if you read the codex pages it is Altair work ( he came up with every thing using the apple of Eden that he got)

@Ex-Mohammed_Anwar Altair made the adjustment using the Apple of Eden(after AC1). Da Vinci then used Altair's formula from the codex pages to make the hidden blade for Ezio. Da Vinci himself did not adjust the formula.

Well the reason why ezio and the others didn't have to cut their finger was because of altair, he made new design through his knowledge from the apple, he wrote a codex about the assassinations, new designs and stuff. Thats why leornardo was able to mod the hidden blade through the codex in assassin's 2
