Great player AND great sense of humor! We only had him in Boston for one season but we got a lot of joy out of it. His Cooperstown plaque should have a hand trying to rub the top of Adrian’s head.
1:17… it’s moments like this where I absolutely love baseball!!! It’s a slow game, yes… but because these guys play every day, and often with the same folks… there’s just a camaraderie and rivalry built with each other early… and it shows!!! It’s like we’re watching these guys play thousands of games among each other, and they’re all in the same club. And yeah… best time to do something this crazy is the All-Star game!!
Beltre and King Felix, Elvis Andrus and Miguel Cabrera was endless laughs and content for days lol. That is unfeathered love for the game he had. When you retire and that’s what you’re remembered for amongst others, you were absolutely needed by the fans, players and coaches.
Adrian Beltre....gotta be the most fun person ever!! And DO NOT touch his head!!! Just wish the Red Sox had stepped up back in 2011 after his 1 year deal there. Luckily I did get to watch him play a lot...since I'm in the DFW area. HOF in 2024 for Beltre!!
