The first time that my mom came to America she told me "i want you to take me to see my favorite player manny ramirez", i checked the mn twins schedule, bought the tickets all the way down, manny ramirez on deck, i yelled in spanish, manny!! Can you take a picture with my mom? She loves you!! He turn walk our way and he did it !! My mom couldn't stop crying, a great memory
Thats so holosom i hope u get photo with ur favorite player next time you go to a game
Very wholesome
Manny being Manny....love that story!!
Great memory that will last forever
Some players are special. Algunos jugadores son especiales.
That first kid will never forget that act of kindness from a rival teams fan. That's what sports should always be about.
That’s what it’s all about!
They also got to meet Aaron Judge afterwards
Supporting idolatry is not kindness! Kindness is telling people the truth! The truth 99.9% of you don’t want to hear!
Yeah true that
@@artifacthunter1472yes but most can’t handle the truth. Especially these days. But that’s not a convo for here
That first one was just great. He immediately turned to the kid. And seeing them hug also.
If i remember correctly, both fans got invited to the dugout later to meet with Aaron Judge
More than catching a homerun ball, I want to give a homerun ball to a kid. Some dude in a Padres jersey gave me one at dodger stadium when I was 7 and I still remember the guy over 20 years later.
The first clip got me chocked up! The Blue Jays fan caught a home run from Aaron Judge (!) and could’ve easily of kept that ball (it’s a home run, not a fool ball) but the boys reaction was priceless!!
**Kids have their whole lives to catch a home run, so I never shame an adult for wanting to keep it. I really wish people would stop shaming people for not handing it over to a kid. But I love that this boy was so overjoyed 🥹❤️⚾️
we want help make memories for the kids that make them wanna come see more games, it's kind of the way that the fans can help keep the love of baseball alive for generations to come
I might be wrong on this one, but if i remember correctly, both the Blue Jays fan who caught the ball, and the boy got invited to the dugout and met Aaron Judge
@@mightygerot4427 I’ll never forget going to a Phillies game with my dad and younger sister (we were around 6 & 9 years old) and we ended sitting next to a 2 men in their 20’s, I guess. Both men were on business in Philly for the week and one of the guys was from Idaho and was telling my dad how excited he was to be at his first MLB game ever. Fast forward a couple innings in, the Idaho guy caught a fool ball and was ready to hand to to my excited little sister but my dad intervened. He told the guy that he deserved the ball, that his daughters had been to way more games than he has & that we had our whole lives to catch one. Of course my sister cried (😂) but that guy was so happy. My sister got over it and my dad bought her ice cream later.
Moral of the story, kids will be fine & that won’t ruin the game for them. Take your kid early to a game to catch balls during batting practice.
@@wojciechbieniek4029 That’s awesome!! I’m a Phillies fan but I love Judge!
There should be no need for shame in these situations. It's okay to want to keep it if you get it, or if you decide to give it to someone younger, that's great too. Spread positivity
that first clip is everything. how he holds the kid’s face and pats his cheek is just the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen a stranger do for another person. Normally you would never see someone hold someone like that to comfort them unless they’re a loved one. Instant bond between this guy and kid. Love it.
The one where the Blue Jays fan gave the ball to the young Yankee fan was beautiful. I watched it live.
If you get a chance, try to look up the footage of the young Yankees fan & the Jays fan who gave him Judge's HR ball. The meet Judge in the dugout the next day. It's amazing...⚾️🇨🇦👌👍
We need MORE of this WHOLESOMENESS in America 🇺🇸 now(MORE THAN EVER!!!)
AMEN
7:50 is so cute!! guy catches it and give it to the kid, and then when the kids dad catches one later, gives to kid, and he gives the same guy his ball back, who gave him the first one 🥹😭 how amazing
also great to see these bc a lot of them are adults who have probably wanted to catch a foul/home-run ball most of, if not their whole lives, and they give it to the kids who probably have their whole rest of their lives to catch one
That 1st clip is the most Canadian thing ever. ❤❤
It’s nice to see a grown man bathe in the glory of catching a fly ball but amounts all that happiness we decide to share that happiness to the ones around us.
“Don’t eat the ball son!” Hilarious! This is why baseball is the greatest game in the world! Can’t wait for spring training 2024 to begin’
Is it strange that this is the only stuff that brings tears to my eyeballs?
Makes me cry everytime.
This gives me some hope for humanity. Lifelong hardcore Red Sox fan but the first clip made me tear up a little bit!
Everyone talks about the 1st kid. I'm more impressed about the kid when the dad caught the 2nd ball, he gave the 1st one back to the guy who gave him one first. Kid wasn't greedy and you can tell by instant action he appreciated the gesture.
I loved the picture of the man who caught the ball, saw a young boy and gave it to the boy, who burst into years and ran to thank him. So sweet.
Why I love baseball. Sit down, chill, talk, a beer, and share happiness.
Love these videos, no politics, no nuttiness, just pure love.
As a brit i don't know much about baseball but i think this kindness from so many fans is my favourite thing about your sport. Awesome stuff.
That first one is priceless... the Blue Jays fan could have kept the ball, but he already knew about the dad and son sitting behind him - who were Yankees fans...that Blue Jays fan showed ultimate class. That kid wearing a Judge shirt, he will never forget that moment 😢...that moment is what sports should be - that Blue Jays fan is a hero for that boy...
That Judge monster shot. And the Yankees kiddo, too cool. Kiddo gotta memory 4 life
It's hard not to love this game man.
Baseball is just so great
is there anything better than making an appreciative kid's day?
When I was a boy I remember getting a ball from an opposing team's fan. It made my day, and I hope to pay that kindness forward myself one day. There's nothing quite like baseball.
Nice to know there’s still a lot of wonderful people in the world 😊❤️
Nice to see there are still good people out there.
First clip is still the best, plus they met Aaron after as well how wholesome.
I used to work the games as an usher for the Rockies and show up early for batting practice to snag some home run balls to give to kids. Got yelled at multiple times to by other ushers and did not give a care in the world because blessing a kid with a real life MLB ball was by far the more rewarding part of the job!
It's just a ball but the joy it brings the little guys and gals is worth every effort to catch and give away a foul ball. 200%!
Not gonna lie, the first one got me so teary eyed and choked up
First clip may have made my whole year that's the type of kindness everyone should have
Thank you MLB - we need more of these videos (and more of this in the world).
Happy kids and baseball - I could watch this all day.
These never get old
DANG I shouldn’t have clicked this video I’m at work and I have to get up but I have tears in my eyes I tried to hold it back but I just can’t. That first clip is just the best I love when people are like this.
Baseball fans are the best... I could watch the videos all day long!
I love these!! Sadly, I didn't do it myself when I got my only home run ball, but there were unusual circumstances...the ball rolled to me after passing maybe 15 people....and it was a Big Papi HR (1st of 2006, where he set a new Red Sox record of 54). It was also MY first HR ball so I couldn't give it away...even though I had 30000 Rangers fans telling me to throw it back. Not a chance!!
yeah, that's a keeper lol, no explanation necessary.
Did you get the ball authenticated before leaving?
@@MH-Tesla Sadly I did not as I didn't know about doing that then. But I know it's real. Got the seat ticket and the video of the HR, including Kevin Mench of the Rangers throwing the ball into the stands. One of these days I need to meet up with Big Papi to get him to sign it.
My favorite videos like this are when the kids throw it back on the field😂😂😂
Just great seeing those kids smile.
Totally different scenario. I took my son to the last KISS concert in Seattle. We got some pics ftom the show. On the way out saw a dad with his very young daughter heading out. So gave my pic to the little girl. The look on her face and her fathers was priceless. Nice to see others do same things with memorabilia
7:50 that is awesome and the probability of something like that happening is insane. Tell me there is no such thing as divine intervention.
Hey MLB…more content like this please 😊
I remember watching this thinking it was his dad, had no idea there was no relation. Just goes to show, takes a community to raise a child. Good work!
I was watching the first one live, and holy crap....I cried hard
God thank you for baseball 🙏⚾
Baseball is about the only game that brings a smile to my face, wish we had our team back in Montreal.
Nice wholesome moments!!! ♥️ Baseball is America's Pastime, and it is awesome!!!
I haven't kept a ball in the stands in years. Always give it to the nearest kid.
This makes me have faith in humanity
Bigger than baseball 🥹
Who's crying? I'm not crying! I got something in my eye.
Kids with a little mitt is just adorable.
We need more fans like these. There's a special place in Heaven for them.
The first clip is great, I bet that young man will never forget that man’s face.
Love these videos. They're an antidote to all the nastiness out there!👍⚾️
The first guy who gave the ball to the young fella, thats what Fathers do, even when its not our child we have this protection mode in us to protect kids and help them. That was his way of showing it, well done sir.
Seeing the look in a kids face when they get a ball at a MLB or minor league game is worth more than keeping it.
The happy little girl with the big red earmuffs on is as cute as a sleeping kitty. Just her complete joy and surprise.
First unwritten rule of going to a ball game. You catch a ball you give it to a kid if there's one nearby
Nothing like baseball to bring the best out in people
Baseball fans really are some of the most caring fans.
There is still some kindness left in this world.
My son was nailed in the shoulder by Pudge Rodriguez when he was 7. It bounced a few aisles down. He was okay, pretty bruised the next day, but really wanted that ball and cried for days about it.
I adore stuff like this
That's why I love baseball!
So wholesome
MLB fans are the BEST fans on earth!!!
I still remember the first ever baseball I ever held at 9 years old. That was puberty to me because I love the game.
Wow the first bluejays guy is awesome man ever Ive seen
I needed good energy! Peace to all, it is going to be ok!
A very likable episode!!
That first one is freakin amazing
Its videos like this that make me want to be a baseball fan. But I know so little about the sport (grew up in a non sports home) that I dont even know what team Id root for if I did learn more. Ill just stick to football and enjoy these videos.
I saw that game and myself as a Jays fan was happy to see this. Even the Jays fans cheered that kid. Thats what baseball is all about! Not 700 million contracts and greed.
Gives you that one little flicker of hope for this country.
I have said this before and always will say baseball has the best fans!
Dam this was a F!@#$% awesome video! 💙💪🏽💯 Thank you
Anyone who has spent any time around any major sport knows that if you end up with a ball, and you're an adult, you find the nearest small kid. It's automatic for most. And that's a good thing.
I have been thinking about baseball this year. I planned on watching it. I normally just watch the World Series. I am a football guy. However, I have been feeling some nostalgia lately. Baseball is so American. This video just solidifies my decision.
大人が子供を大切にする気持ちが凄く良いよね。
5:44
That old dude saved someone from a broken face! My goodness what a snag!
I hope that dude was hooked up with a few beers from the people he saved.
There should be a special award in the HOF for these folks.
These are all adorable, but I'm surprised no one is talking about how they showed the same clip twice lmao (1:06 and 10:43)
Beautiful
This gives me hope. But then I encounter fellow drivers on the roadways and my hope dissipates again. 😂
Another reason to love baseball.
Getting me ready for MLB '24.
This is what the game is all about right here.
Great video, lots of nice folks. Can we talk about that filthy 6:50 slide into second?
I’m from the UK but I’m a Cardinals fan 👍🏻 wahoooooo I love them birds 😂
子供たちの輝く笑顔は、最高だ!
I still want to get a ball. But after keeping it for 5 minutes, I would give it to a kid who would cherish it.
At the San Francisco Giants stadium, it's almost a written law that you give the ball to a kid...
That kid was lucky the guy was probably a Blue Jay's fan lol but in all honesty, that was awesome to watch
0:45 This shows how much My Fellow Blue Jays fans are good sports and classy
That would be me I’d find the closest kid and give them the ball cause they’re what the game is all about 👍
This is why "Baseball is the best."
Why baseball is the greatest game.
Damn, those onions were strong from that first clip
