You can't have prohibited items on duty I mean, you can use only chest pockets for notebook and something like that, he simply have no space to put the ball I mean
Memory of catching/obtaining the ball + making someone else’s experience one to remember is worth more than keeping the ball. Unless it’s a homerun ball. I’d say you can keep that one.
the kid at 7:14 comes out of nowhere to claim the ball the cop rightfully caught lol. he was waiving not saying come get it!! lol I would of taken it straight back boy you got me fcked up
Always get annoyed when the camera won't follow a foul ball. Even more when the crowd reacts and your wondering, what just happened? imagine all the great fan catches and fails that we miss just during 1 game.
Muchombo Hi, a ball park isn't going to have just one camera. In fact, they have a lot of cameras. Certain cameras are focused on certain spots and these different views are stitched together and sent live. Don't blame the camera operator, blame the editor.
7:15 I hate that kid. He should not have asked for the ball, even of he did he should have thanked, he just took off after the officer handed him the ball.
I once saw a guy catch a home run with a beer in his left hand. As he caught it with the right, he just froze with his hand above his head and the crowd was in awe.
I had an experience at a baseball game, where a bat flew out of the batter’s hand, and got caught in the net. Take note, the player didn’t care, he just walked back to the dugout. A kid, about eleven or twelve, went to get it. He climbed onto the top of the dugout and reached for it, but he couldn’t reach it, so a man climbs up with him and picks him up to help him reach it. They get it, but an official comes and takes it away from him! The man was outraged and the kid plain sad. Everyone was booing, and they didn’t give the bat back to the kid.
The bat is property of the player and is always retrieved from the stands. Usually they would be given a signed bat in return(they have bats they use in batting practice and not the actual game). The bats are custom made for each player and cost a lot of money. As for the player not caring, it is for a grounds crew person to get the bat. You do not want a player that makes a couple of mill a year to get hurt doing stuff like that.
I can't imagine they're that expensive, after all, bats breaking isn't uncommon. And they're mlb players making umpteezillion dollars a year. They can afford a bat.
@@makim-k5850 They cost between 50-70 dollars per bat depending if they are ash or maple. The team usually buys the bats for the player depending on the contracts so the bats technically belong to the club but anywho players do get attached to their bats especially during hitting streaks, players tend to be superstitious. Again it is personal property of the players/teams so any bat that goes into the stands is retrieved regardless of what we may think or feel what others should do with their property.
So fun to see 1:51, appreciate that the man who it happened to even had enjoyment in the situation and laughed as well. The situation is ten times better when you positively take part in it as well, even at your own expense, rather than it being all on you.
7:18 I was skating around Public Square that day, I was watching at the gate and saw the lady catch the bouncing ball. It sounded like someone threw a rock lol
