Sad Downfall of the Truck Market! Ford vs Ram vs Chevy Comparison

- In todays video we talk about the steep drop off and collapse in truck demand. Where did the truck buyer go? Ford, Chevy, and Ram cannot sell trucks right now. The middle class is taking a beating and that is leading to a serious problem for dealers trying to sell trucks. Wholesale data is from the nations largest wholesale auction site. It paints a sad picture.
Today we take a look and wholesale car and truck sales data to understand why the car market is crashing. Dealers can't give these cars away and a couple factors such as interest rates and demand drop off are creating a crisis situation on dealer lots. Car and truck sales are down. Dealers can't sell them and customers refuse to purchase over priced vehicles. This may be the worst time to buy a car.

What do you want a market analysis of next?
Toyota Tundra. F150s in Iowa have incentives of 8K to 15k. But the Tundra only has 1k incentive. Are they having as much trouble as Ford and Chevy or just holding out on lowering prices.
@@Rottingboards I haven't followed Toyota truck data as closely but will include it in the next truck update
This whole car market is going to be interesting. I think the greed has gotten out of control. @@JumpSquadAuto
@@Rottingboards I agree. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying seeing some known price gouging dealers hurting badly right now. They've abused customers last few years....markets coming full circle
The whole economy has gone to shit.
Thanks for watching
Stock market is at all time highs! The economy is awesome!
@@shekelberggoldstein1387 lol riiight. All time high national debt and 8 of the last 9 job reports were silently corrected to be huge job losses. Credit card debts at an all time high and peoples avg savings is obliterated. Reality on the ground is different then headlines or stocks. Truck markets showing the same fractures
Couldnt agree more, everything as consumers that we buy is increasing at such a higher incline than our income.
Thank you for watching
Thanks for the information my man
Seems like people are holding off on spending. Would be interested in how badly the declining sales for other vehicle types compares to the trucks
I will work on gathering metrics. Thank you for watching!
Work trucks are still selling, it's just these ridiculously overprice four door trucks loaded with every feature that isn't selling.
punt Biden and it will improve!!!
biden wants you to buy a 50-100k electric car!!
Never going to happen.
In what way. Inflation was starting to increase before Biden. And if the stock market keeps increasing are you going to give Biden a thumbs up?
The lock downs started under Trump
Howard..Bless your uninformed heart.
They've turn trucks into luxury vehicles and quality control clocked out 10 years ago. Over priced junk. Toyota is the only manufacturer that still produces dependability and quality.
Before I could write this comment...you said C8 Corvette. Yep. Looking forward to your report.
I did a deep dive of the c8 Corvette last month. Do check it out if you want some whole sale c8 data

@@JumpSquadAuto Thank you!
Not the Jeep Wrangler 392 lol. They're still selling like there's no tomorrow.
They are over priced
What about Toyota Tundra limited and SR5?
I will do some digging and gather data around it for the next truck video. I'm hoping to make this a quarterly update
If you stop buying them, you wouldn’t have that problem
Maybe we just all have trucks now
Not sad at all, inevitable
