I miss this old hardware store that used to be in my town. Every department had a retired trades man heading it so you could get professional answers and they had bins for screws, bolts and nails so you didn't have to buy a whole box when you only needed like 2 or 3.

Chasing down someone to ask a question is too relatable. Like i guess part of it is the sheer size of the aisles but i swear EVERY.TIME. i'm walking down one to approach one of them, they just "happen" to finish with the shelf they're at and walk towards the other end of the aisle.
