the shamrock shake scene from every mcdonald's ever keeps me up at night. because for years i thought, "yeah, that's weird. i wonder what the shamrock flavor is supposed to be?" but one fateful day, i actually tried one. and what confused me so much is that the shamrock flavor is mint. it's literally just. mint. i don't understand what was so confusing about the shamrock shake to whoever thought of that scene and it literally haunts me.
I think the idea was more of a joke, like if you never knew what chocolate tastes like then you would also be confused why someone would say the choclate shake tastes like choclate, I mean how else could you describe it. So they were poking fun at the fact that flavours are hard to describe even though shamrock is easy, if that makes sense.
