Iâm very excited to see the next challenge excepted
Literally canât wait for this video
Can you try being a nail tech please
As a former cheerleader, Michelle made this look insanely easy she is athletic as hell! All the cheerleaders being shocked were genuine reactions most people canât do the stuff Michelle did even a few months in!
She is a trooper and is using all the transferable skills from previous challenges. I love that she keeps some of what she learns with her despite going from task to task
@@SobrietyandSolace yeah I just wanted to clarify because people love to talk about how cheer isnât a sport⊠so theyâd probably watch this and think sheâs an average person and cheer is just super easy. No sheâs just insanely athletic and determined
I totally agree!
Ikr! Iâm a high school cheerleader with about 2 years in total of practice and I canât even do that!
Bro Iâve been cheering for almost a decade. Iâm 16 and I couldnât dream of doing some of the stuff she did in this video. Granted, I donât have to often as a backspot, but still. It was very very impressive. It was kind of inspiring, since Iâm going into my first year on Varsity and itâs very nerve wracking, since, much like her, I donât have very good tumbling skills. But, weâve gotta try :)
I love how supportive your cheer partner was. he seems like such a nice guy
even the other dude who dabbed at 23:03
And a good coach too.
@@bobbadobidob9624 he was being the âKâ in âUKâ haha
He was the real MVP and such a team player!
Thatâs just how you talk to each other in a stunt group, it really does help you to push through even when you feel like every muscle in your body is about to give out. Iâm so proud of her though! Like seriously Iâve cheered with girls for years that didnât make the progress she made in 3 days! It warms my heart in every way and had me smiling from ear to ear âșïž
Itâs the fact that sheâs LITERALLY learning the skills for the first time on the sidelines while the other people are performing that blows my mind. Of course Michelle isnât going to be on par with people who have been doing this since they were in single digits, but she has a determination and energy that you KNOW those coaches have to appreciate.
Iâm a Leo âïž to
Me being a cheerleader since I was 4 Iâm 9 now so 5 years I do a junior stunt
As a cheerleader myself, I am so impressed with you. Learning that so fast is so crazy. Iâve been cheering for 6 years and Iâm just now doing the stunts your doing.
So you are a slow starter??
@@dockingtroll6801 yes
As a cheerleader I'm beyond SHOCKED at the skills Michelle was able to do in a bit over a week. Most cheerleaders practice for a decade before doing these stunts. It definitely helps a ton to have expert bases under you to learn, but still, this is extremely impressive.
She was athletic before so that helped too.
I would of done cheer back in high school ( the most I did was elementary school cheerleading) but I lacked self confidence in myself and I was scared of injury . If I could go back in time Iâd tell myself to at least try the worst that could happen was I didnât make it
To be honest its not very difficult skills base(tumbling) if u have the proper instructors and u are already more or less fit
Iâm in cheerleading and I know she amazingâ€
SAME!!! Iâm so shocked
The genuine surprise on their faces when she did the 4 back handsprings and other moments when they were so impressed by how quickly Michelle was able to learn just made my day. They seem like really nice people to allow you to film while making these crucial decisions and it was obvious they were being as supportive and nice to you as possible.

I love how Michelle is so loud, hype, and enthusiastic, and even more then anything brave and powerful
As an extreme introvert I canât imagine how much confidence it takes to try new things and potentially fail, not only in front of the people in the room but in front of the whole internet. I struggle walking into Muay Thai each week and itâs a medium sized class and here Meesh is trying new things in front of millions of people on the internet.
I think thatâs social anxiety not being an extreme introvert
@@gracie5463 Agree.. people seems correlate being introvert as "Socially Anxious" when in fact being Introvert just how you recharge your energy, Introvert energy drained with social interaction while Extrovert fuelled by social interaction
No one cares that you are a introvert
Well I signed up for theatre not sure if am ready I sometimes wish that I shouldnât have picked it but am excited aswell! Bc am an introvert aswell or probably SA?
Really most of this stuff is from outside sources like school teaching us you "can't fail" when life is a experience and adventure and mistakes and "failing" is the way we learn experience>perfection
You did SO good đ and your partner was the sweetest. This was really inspiring
Hi hope!! Love you â€!
omg hopeee
Need a Hope and Michelle collab.
Omg Hi hope I love ur vids so much you are an inspo for me!
I agree
Everytime I watch Michelle try something new I want to cry seeing how much she tries and puts herself out there, she is the best role model for little girls and women of all ages. I feel more motivated and dedicated to achieve my goals and dreams when I watch her. â€
I loved your confidence! and I love how the judges did not butter you up with wishful comments to make you feel better, but when you're actually not performing well. They were straight to the point and told you your strengths and weaknesses, that's what make you a better performer ,you improve on your mistakes
I did competition cheer, cheer, and gymnastics and she WAS IMPRESSIVE!!!! Learning to fly and go up in the air isnât just a physical thing itâs mental too. And ALOT of trust
I have ony done gymnastics (Borrowing my husbands YT haha) and the teust you need to have in the person learing you everything and yourself is crazy!! Si did AMAZING!!
Absolutely!!! Itâs so mind over matter and not everyone can do that. She did! It was fantastic! Especially since she had never done it before. She did great!
Beep, bop... I'm the Philosophy Bot. Here, have a quote:

Agreed. The backhandsprings alone. Like, it takes a healthy amount of mental strength to jump backwards. Most tumblers (gymnastics or cheer) build up the confidence in their bodies over time. But here she was just doing 4 in a row after learning how to do 2 *that day!*
And she also performed it all in front of a crowd which is its own mental hurdle
I was..."happy" that you didn't make the team. NOT because I thought you were bad or because i was rooting against you...only because it keeps the stakes and skill level really real. They didn't hand you anything just because of your vlogger status. This was a real audition and they were grading you just like they were grading everyone else. You learned and improved so much in what was probably a total of 2 weeks and that is TRULY amazing! Honestly, I think if you went at it full time you could absolutely make a cheer squad within a year if you kept up this level of intense training. You always show us that anything can be achieved with maximum efforts and that is priceless.
Then again, she did really well still and made it past a cut so, it is sort of embarrassing for the cheer community that a person can compete with them with just 10 days of trainibg
She said earlier that she would not be taking the space of a college student. Sheâs there for the experience
@@Sam-yx5li I mean you have to think about it this way, Michelle isnât just your average person trying out for the Kentucky team. She literally does things like this for a living. I donât donât an average person with no cheer experience can get as far as she did.
@@Sam-yx5li Did you watch the video? She could not "compete with them" .. she made the cut cause of her attitude and improvement. Not because she had the skills lol
@@TVtrio101 she could compete tho, she had some stuff that others didnât have and she was chosen over some girls who probably did this for a couple yesrs
11:28 you can see 2 cheerleaders doing a football jump to each other đ
23:28 is the essence of cheer. Cheer is hard its just like gymnastics or the circus, you need to impress make it look easy and smile through it all. You may be the best person on the team but right before you get on that mat you have some type of overwhelming feeling whether it's fear anticipation or pure excitement. Even more so cause you only have one chance. Once you're done and you ace that performance or competition you feel proud you feel powerful. That nervousness or fear didnt effect you and you showed everyone how badass you are! You trained hard for it and you can finally say that the work was worth it, and that feeling of accomplishment and moment of pride that is cheer.
If I was in Michelle's position, I would have just cried and wet my pants...like Michelle doesn't realize how much of an inspiration she is ...looking at her trying new things and putting herself out of her comfort zone over and again is just amazing đ
me too... esp with how intense that coach was omg
AGREED.Sometimes it's SCAREY trying anything new & meeting new people,it's like walking a tight rope over a sky-scraper without a net. LOL.
RIGHT!
@@ophelia.13 She was intense, but honest. That's a great coach- a leader that doesn't tolerate BS. đđ

Iâd like to take just a second to point out how great of a cheerleader Daniel is. I hope that he doesnât think of himself solely as âGabiâs stunt partner,â because he is simply remarkable. I cheered in high school and college, and if I could have been even a tenth as good of a cheerleader as Daniel, I would have never given it up.
Gabi could be so good because of him... he did a great job with Michelle.. pushed her confidence that she will do it.. great guy great personality
So true
Honestly girl you saved me I felt like giving up when u wasn't good enough to make me cheer team but because of your work ethic and determination I am truly inspired and I am gonna work really hard to achieve my goal.
michelle in this video is like the main protagonist of a movie where she joins far later than every one else yet through her determination and dedication she ends up improving at such a rapid pace and showing just how serious she is about it all and thus ends up making it despite her late start

As a past cheerleader and flyer, the skills you learned took me years to get down, this is very impressive. You should be extremely proud of yourself and thank you for giving a REAL glimpse of the mental/physical preparation cheerleaders experiences.
Iâm sure half the battle for you was gaining the physical fitness to be able to do the skills in the first place. Michelle is crazy fit; she works out regularly and does a lot of fitness-based challenges for this channel, but Iâm sure you can tell just based on her physique.
23:34 Michelle, you were better than anyone I've seen. You were full of energy. You learned fast. YOU PERSERVERED. That's what matters.

Only 10 days of training, yet it felt like you had the most spirit out of everyone. You were literally the light and joy out of all of this and itâs AMAZING AND STUNNING. Sure you couldnât do all the stunts the professional and more experienced cheerleaders could do, but it was still so beautiful and amazing Michelle!!
Yeah I feel like after doing the sport for a while the fun and joy of it gets....muddled. It becomes a job of sorts with how much work and money goes into it...easy to forget to bring the joy to all moments.
What a great coach! No wonder theyâre so successful. Honest feedback, straightforward, and you can tell she doesnât put up with bs!

LOL.My co-workers at my civilian job thought I had quit, because I was gone for 2 yrs & 8 months ( that was because of my 2 deployments back-to-back )When you REALLY want to do something, you'll make a way-SOME HOW.The last 2 tours,I did year on,year off.Year in Iraq fighting, then year on civilian job. She did an amazing job for 10 days. If she couldn't tumble or fly before, that's amazing progress. But as a former college cheerleader and co-captain of my high school cheer team, her flexibility and tumbling wasn't nearly where it needed to be for her to be even considered. She really shouldn't have made it past day 1. But her energy was really good and she's obviously very physically fit. She would make most high school teams I know of and they would feel confident in being able to train her up with more tumbling and flying skills. Unfortunately college teams generally expect you to show up fully trained with the skills they expect and need.
as a retired gymnast that also did cheer in middle/high school the amount that you learned that quick is IMPRESSIVE. It takes some people years to get over the fear of flipping backwards or twisting. I'm really impressed and I loved how hype everyone was for you.

Those are about endurance, a passive trait you can build over time, tumbling is an actual skill. To get to the level to actually compete you need to be not only extremely talented at learning but also doing it for a minimum of at least 3 years every single day because most of the top cheerleaders start from childhood so they easily have 6-10 years on you
@@yoface938 That's just straight up wrong. Just like you can get better at endurance by training, you get better at tumbling by practice. Can you link any sources that say there's a minimum 3 years of every single day practice required? Depending on learning speed, and motivation you could definitely become really skilled at tumbling in 4-6 months.
@@igliibrahimllari2820 of course theres a lot more factors to traits and talents than just labels we used to get the ideas across. You can definitely get better (to a point) at anything the more you do it. And thereâs really no need to CZcams scientist cite anything per peer review as I can tell you to just go ahead and go try out a physical discipline yourself and complete with someone at the highest level like these girls after practicing for 4-6 months and see how well you do. After you embarrass yourself keep at it for 3 years of daily training and come back to tell us what you have observed
@@yoface938 You're comparing endurance training "to a point" vs tumbling at the highest level in the world. How is that a fair comparison?
Do you think you can compete at an international level of any endurance sport with just 4-6 months of practice? You would need at least "3 years" right? It's the same shit, you're just biased.
@@igliibrahimllari2820 contrasting, actually, which was the whole point to more accurately represent the skill set the op is seeing come into fruition.
She's an incredible athlete! I almost hope the cheerleaders that were cut don't see this. Some of these girls have been training since they were preschool to cheer. They've been in gymnastics and acrobatics classes, dance, cheer, competitive cheer, etc. Then here comes Michelle and nails it after only 11 days of training. Way to go!
Tbf, Michelle is 100% more bodily aware and in better overall shape than anyone who's just done cheer or similar their whole life. That's more useful than people would think. That helps her to pick up things WAY faster, even not taking into account the things she's learned before that she can pull directly from.
I love your videos because you are so confident and outgoing! You make a goal and you try everything to complete it. It's actually really inspiring to be fully honest. đ đ
i love this girl , she so brave and encouraging to try new things
That saying that University of Kentucky cheerleader said was a great motto "if your afraid of failure you dont deserve success" love that motto
Personally, fear of failure is always what has driven me. In high school I was a very good 800m runner, I even had an almost perfect year where I got 1st place in almost every race I did. The thing with the 800m though is that it's painful, literally sprinting for half a mile is the most painful thing that I have ever done. When I was going into the final 200-300 meters and all that I wanted to do was slow down so that I would stop hurting, I always thought about how much I wanted to win, but also how much I was afraid to lose. Saying that I didn't deserve my success because I used my fear as my motivation is honestly really disheartening and I don't think that it's a very good message. Fear is a big part of what drives us and there is a big difference between people who are afraid to fail so they don't try and people who are afraid to fail so they work harder than everyone else to make sure that they succeed.
@@sydneypeck2488 cool
@@sydneypeck2488 yeah, I don't think it's a good philosophy, for me at least. Maybe I don't deserve success, but saying it outright just prevents me from trying. I want to try and try again until I succeed, not be disqualified from the start. But I can see why it works for some people

When she NAILED those stunts for auditions day 3, I wanted to run up to her and scream and hug her in excitement!!!! She DID IT!! Her calling should be cheerleading. Sheâs so talented!!
itâs so nice how you keep surprising them! your determination is amazing!
Love their genuine reactions so sweet and supportive! Michelle is outstanding, truly a role model omg
I wouldnât have minded a documentary style day by day video of this challenge. I hope Michelle knows a lot of us love longer format videos!
Yea alot of these newer videos seem almost rushed? I miss the process!
@@viceb7 Iâm glad Iâm not the only one who noticed! I saw her recent video was under 20 minutes.
Please stopped the rushed process. Why did they not show your training. I know there is hours of footage.
I literally cried after you nailed Day 3. So incredibly proud of you and in awe of your physical and mental strength. You are an inspiration. Letâs also shout it out for your partner and all the other amazing athletes competingâŠyou are all amazing!
love that the happiness and excitement is so palpable đ„șđ„ș
This is such a good show not only of the athleticism but also the attitude that goes into cheer! What a joy to watch
"I wished that everyone could smile like her (Michelle)." Michelle's smile, build, sporting background, and multitude of experiences makes her suited for cheerleading... Period!
Michelle I just need to say this video is awesome đ đ€© I donât know anything about cheer but I was cheering for you the entire time. Great story telling and such great TV level video quality! Keep up the great work.
Omg rocky? Your here I never thought that-
Rocky! I love your vids!!!
2 replies? How is there 2
Rocky??happy your heređ
5th! Also heyyyy rocky
you never fail to make me cry with your videos. youâre so inspiring
Stop omg I had the biggest smile on my face when she was doing the tryouts and was sooo impressed. If she had started when she was young she would be on a team, the skills she got from that short of time is amazziinnnggggg! I was a dancer and wouldn't have had the courage to do this
itâs so satisfying watching people realise how incredible and determined michelle is like at 15:34 and 21:50
As a former cheerleader of 8 years, you did fantastic!! I literally cried from how inspirational this was.
Excellent documentary, and I rarely give that kind of praise. You were a brave, fast learner, be proud of what you accomplished in that try-out.
Btw the subscribe reminder was REALLY good! What a reminder should be, quick and to the point, didnt interrupt the content at all! You definitely earned 3 million
As a lifelong cheerleader and coach, GIRL, what you did in 10 days and the tryout was UNBELIEVABLE and nothing short of OUTSTANDING!!! WAY TO GO SISTER!!!

How do get past the fear of falling or getting hurt when you do stunts?
Given what happened to the UK coaches and team a couple of years ago, I can see why they were so appreciative to have you there and shed a positive light on them.
sorry, i know i can just Google it. but, if u don't mind, what happened?
@@alexnndder same here
â@@alexnndderdid a quick search, looks like they had BRUTAL hazing
@@alexnndderseems like there was a gruesome case of hazing that involved intoxication of young women and men along with nudity on a cheer retreat they did
@@alexnndderAlong with what has been said, from what I understand, it looks like this coach is the one who was brought in to help revitalize the program after the old coach was removed due to the scandal. So it might explain why they havenât won in a few years, as well as why she is not accepting of any sort of low standards.
i couldn't watch this video without smiling or feeling your enthusiasm. it was so infectious.
Honestly this was so inspiring, iy just reminded me that whatever you put your mind to, you would surely excel in it. Great job Michelleâ€
I love this Challenge accepted! Continue doing what youâre doing, Michelle. These videos really make both mine and many others day. Your videos are extremely educational and amazing!
(Grammatical error, I originally said âI love this seriesâ but then I changed it to Challenge accepted, so Itâs supposed to be âI love Challenge accepted!â I want to edit it, but Michelle hearted my comment and I donât wanna risk losing that lol (I love this episode, as well!)
Man, this felt so rushed again even though it was longer. The best part of these was always watching Michelle go through her mental experience with us. The day in, day out of the mental process of what it means to do these challenges, what she's afraid of, what she's learning, what hurts, what's scary, what feels too hard, what she's learning about herself. Not 60s of a few skills and "I'm trying out now!". Like, we went from a toe-touch to flipping stunts in no time and not a single moment to process that MASSIVE leap! This series was all about accomplishing a mission....which was way more about the person journey than the physical task completion. I felt like I learned more about everyone else and very little about Michelle.
I agree! I liked the mental processing as well as the more involved training that she used to film.
I agree, but your suggestion is not really a criticism, but an addition to the video Michelle did. Her video is leaning towards perfection, but with a few missing aspects that you discussed. But, no video on youtube is perfect, and that's why, just enjoy the video that you see, and be thankful.
Agreed. What was so motivational was seeing someone struggle, but still continue. See someone grit their teeth. Put in effort. No doubt she put in effort to get to that level of fitness to begin with, but this video feels more like watching someone perfect be perfect and achieving their dreams. It looks unattainable, not encouraging.
(Maybe she could accompany someone who struggles, if she doesn't. Talk to people at different stages of learning something. Etc.)
She must have looked at the stats and seen people aren't watching long form content anymore. Tik tok is destroying our already short attention spans lol. A lot of creators are moving away from long form content đ for the record I agree though. Her marathon video changed my life, and even that was a bit short imo.
@@vibeyvideos9518 And now shorts too, which is already much bigger than tiktok
I have binge watch all your videos and this is by far soooooo inspiring!!!!
It's difficult for me to express how happy this made me. Fuck yeah lil Mama!
I love how this showed cheerleaders as they really are positive, polite and always cheering for their teammates and even rivals because so much of media shows us as mean and catty when most of us we are not like that.
You should train with one of the top college dance teams! Dancers donât get enough credit for how hard they work, especially on the collegiate level.
Ohio State University dance team is incredible!!!
@@lesliepliego2920 Are u being serious, or is that just another unfunny "Ohio" joke?
I'm only asking because I keep seeing those "Ohio" jokes floating around the internet, and to me, they're just not funny. đ€·đ»ââïž
And no, I'm not from Ohio.
@@SilentAndy im pretty sure they were just making a suggestion
@@SilentAndy How did you get offended for a state you're not even in? Do what your username says and stay silent because you're getting heated just for the sake of an argument. Obviously they're making an suggestion that was way more positive than negative
You killed it Michelle Iâve never seen a video this amazing befoređ
