There is something hypnotic watching a new mountain grow before your eyes.
At about the 1min mark all the ants near the vent get moved off the hill.

It's also cool watching it at first dark because you can see their flashlights on the hill to the right and some camera flashes. Little tiny dots of light moving around in the darkness.

I love watching the volcano in real time, but my impatient brain loves the time lapse. Thanks Dusan!

if this keeps going for long enough it would be cool to see a clip of pictures taken about the same time every day all put together to see how it grows each day.

Thank You for your effort, It's larger than it looks in other videos , Those people look like ants next to the edge of the flow. Watching from New Jersey , USA.

Because there is no real way to Gage distance in this video because there are no trees, etc. You think the mound is small, but when you see how tiny the people are, its a small mountain.

Looks like people were right at the edge of the hot lava flow.

I sped it up and watched it at 1.75x speed. Awsome! I live very near to Mt. Rainier, USA. It's going to be terrifying when she blows! 😳 Mt. Rainier is in Washington state, USA. The Pacific Northwest of the USA.

@@DugizJihlavy Yes, it does! I shared this on Facebook. My family and I had been watching the Live Cam across from the volcano, which was great. From that distance, the people walking around looked like ants lol. So to see you discuss it right there next to it was fascinating! Thank you!

Thank you for braving the Icelandic 'cold' (or should I say heat) to film this. It is very interesting. Lovely looking valley as well being transformed.

I'm not there, I'm in Czech republic. I just record the webcam from Iceland and than speed it up. The source is linked in the video description. ;-)

People are not in danger - the lava slides slowly - in fact so slow that Sloths can out run it :) So lava flow being a slow process time-lapse is just the thing to see the action.
