Awesome. I would like to see a new timelapse every day. Showing the steady progression of this eruption over time.
Part 3 (night) is in final production stage. ;-)
We are witnessing the birth of a volcano thanks to you. We are so grateful
excellent...can really see the flow and changes in intensity, thank you
You're welcome. ;-)
I'm watching thinking what are those crazy birds doing so close to the lava edge then realized it was people! Birds know better.
Those silly people in Iceland should remember the White Island, New Zealand, tourists who died or were injured at that volcano when it erupted during their visit.
They did look like birds, at first. lol
HAH I thought they were birds at first too.
Keep them coming! Incredible view. Could watch all day.
Part 3 (night) is in final production stage. ;-)
Thank you for sharing. Stunning how steady the flow accumulates....
You're welcome. ;-)
normal people at the beach: going to the water line and running away from the waves
Icelanders: hold my Skyr!!
Wow this is really cool to see. I used to work on Jan Mayen, and we had just this type of terrain with craters, green moss and lava flows. Very interesting to see how it is developed.
this is the best viewing on the internet or television, spending all day watching
I love how everybody just like goes up to this volcano like it is a nice kitten.
Compared to plinian type volcanoes like taal merapi pinatubo, it is.
They reminded me of running away from a wave on the beach. Only difference is the temperature of the wave.🤤
Haha! Here I am toking dabs and unknowingly adding to the ambient of this video as I blow clouds of vapor while my propane torch seemingly emulates the sound of the fiery lava exploding from the mountainside. PPP me maties!
Now to open the other videos and play them in order. Thanks for sharing these time-lapses!
I can’t stop watching this! Thanks for sharing with us!!
You're welcome. ;-)
I wouldn't get so close. When I worked for the USGS, I met a volcanologist who got too close to lava in Hawaii. A liquid flow flanked her, cut off her escape route and she had to be rescued by helicopter. The radiant heat burned her legs pretty bad. She was bold and lucky.
Nice job! Such a cute little group of cones! Let's hope they stay that way!
Wonderful to watch. Thanks for these time lapses. Just great!
"Run, you fools!" -Gandalf
Nice video! I look forward to seeing more as I am a die hard volcano person
Part 3 (night) is in final production stage. ;-)
Very nice. If the audio is available that's always a welcome addition. The natural rumblings and bursts of flaming lava sounds enhance the viewing experience. Baring that silence is the 2nd choice. I'm considering since you did a time lapse I bet the audio isn't what I'm referring to. I've never made a time lapse video but slo-mo makes weird audio so...
Anyway thanx for a clear steady video of the action!
I agree, but there is no sound in the original webcast (www.ruv.is/frett/2021/03/20/beint-vefstreymi-fra-eldstodvunum?rtype=news&slot=1&term=Borgarfjalli).
@@DugizJihlavy thanx 😁
How many of those scuttling people have got hurt so far?
None they are scientists
As far as I know, none. This isn't their first eruption they've witnessed.
@@joshuahoney3685 Actually, Iceland has a fair share of volcanic tourism and this is said to be a most touristic volcano by Icelandic standards given it's small size, small risk of violent eruptions, relative reachability and slow flow rate. So setting aside the people that are there for various news agencies, there are tourists, too, and not just scientists.
Rivers of liquid rock never ceases to amaze
Awesome man.
Simply incredible!
Garden Vulcan. Nice view!
i have a feeling you are about to get alot of new subscribers
Yes, I wasn't uploading videos for maybe 4 years, till yesterday. :-D
Is the current lava flow blocking a stream from the back side of the lava peak?
Excelente trabalho.
Muito obrigado.
Is this volcano categorized as shield volcano or not? Because it seems similar to hawaiian volcano like kilauea and mauna loa
Yes, very exciting stuff.
Always been a volcano and earthquake geek...thanks for scratching that itch I can't reach!!!
Keep up the good work!!☆♡☆
You're welcome. ;-)
World's easiest job: Icelandic weather forecaster saying which direction the wind is going to be blowing.
Awesome footage, wow what an eruption. I saw the scientists were hard at work.
Wow, that was a cool time lapse live play, thanks for sharing the show.
You're welcome. ;-)
Thanks for the six hours. I love it.
Wonder where the flow path is gonna go after the bowl fills up ?.......
Beautiful
Did Isildur cast the ring in this time?
Great awesome timelapse
Thank you. ;-)
How many people playing footsie with the advancing edge got singed?
Thanks for doing that. So interesting.
You're welcome.
I love at the end. Volcano, "Turn it to 11!"
excellent, i was hoping someone would do this
Very nice timelapse 👌
Excellent!
Really nice. Thanks for the effort!
You're welcome. ;-)
Keep up the good work!!!!
Part 3 (night) is in final production stage. ;-)
.. it was cool watchin the bugs land then go and the ants scurrying around the edge of the hot treats like an unattended picnic table .. familiar lookin bugs ..
I wonder if any of them tried to cook food on/near it.
Was getting stronger as it went on
Look at the ant sized people in the middle left scurrying around
Incredible, thank you
You're welcome. ;-)
That’s insane 🙌💯
Super! ja som iba fotky robila, ale toto je lepšie! Teším sa na pokračovsnie! Dakujem!
Jsem rád, že se Vám to líbí. ;-)
VERY COOL!
i could watch that for hours
Magnificent enough without speeding it up
It’s like watching ants go up a mole hill. Respect to these people
so scary for cows...it's like the barbecue is coming after you...
Das wirkt gar nicht so riesig im ersten Moment bis der Hubschrauber und die ganzen Sachen vorbei huschen
Very nice. I will keep checking back.
Looks like drone breeding season.
Look those ants having the illusion that have the power to change the climate of such a whole planetary body.
IF YOU FIND THIS INTERESTING , CONSIDER THE CALDERA UNDER YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK . IT STRETCHES TO UNDER MONTANA AND IS OLD FAITHFUL'S ENGINE AT THE PARK
Needless to say, if IT goes ? .. we go .. !! ..n it's overdue ..
This Is The Unstoppable!! No Way To Stop This which I find puzzling in this day..you think we would have invented something to stop the flow..
How much you want to bet, that some those volcanologist down there were roasting hotdogs over lava for science?
Wow that eruption is super fast, hehe
Those people look like ants that just found a bottle of molasses that has tipped over.
Wow interessiert mich sehr
I love the little ants scurrying about trying to figure out what the lava is.
Hahaha, ants!?
Those "little ants" are people. :O)
Wow!!!
Took me a moment to realise that those small "birds" I thought I was looking at, were actually people! 😮
There are a large group of crazy people running back and forth in front of the massive lava flow on the right side.
I worry about the people so close to the moving line of lava. They are far away from any help. If the lava front should suddenly burst open and that fast moving flow catch them, or burn them, they have no way to get help quickly. It seems very foolish to me. I hope they will all be okay.
Ok so this is 6.2 hours worth...it's really covering some ground
I wish I could put a can of raviolis in the lava
The viewers are taking a huge risk by going so close to the lava flows.
Stuff moves slower than a turtle
@@jeffdunnell508 Indeed. Watch the lava stream from a few meters: czcams.com/video/f3BD8vqYTho/video.html
@@euroguy5504 This, is not like Hollywood with huge fireballs, explosions and volcanic bombs shattering the surrounding... I'm a little disappointed. 🤔
Is the earth surface heating up? 50 volcanoes going off ~!~ lol
some people really took a chance...
🙏
brígido
How many died
25 were thinking of committing suicide because of lock downs...
Nobody so far. ;-)
Ants and their anthill.
At first it looked tiny but then I saw the people on right.
It is tiny actually
@@halldorherm yeah it’s tiny compared to a mountain, but at first I thougt it has the size of a truck ^^
Only humans would run towards the lava coming out of the exploding mountain, and climb to the top. "Ima poke it with a stick!"
those people just look like ants, which makes this scenery look smaller than it actually is
They looks like ants eating a piece of bread surrounding that volcano.
It was just getting to the good part but video ended 😥
I made another part. ;-)
lol why is nobody concerned about travel to europe potentially being disrupted by this volcano
And watch it at 2x speed
الله.اكبر
please do more
Part 3 (night) is in final production stage. ;-)
@@DugizJihlavy it's so interesting, like watching a mountain being formed before your eyes
volcanoes do what they what
the people look like fruit flies attacking food. Don't they know that if the lava lake above them breaks, they may not be able to outrun it?
like locusts
2x speed
Why would anyone put off the most important decision they could ever make in their lives concerning eternal life? If you die today are you going to heaven? In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 The apostle Paul tells us what the gospel is: "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I
delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
Gospel means "good news." Your debt has been paid, the death penalty has been paid, you are free.
Matthew 18:3 - Jesus said: "Unless you become like this little child you will not enter the kingdom of heaven."
This is how to be saved, it is simply child like, as simple as ABC:
A - Admit that you are a sinner. This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against a righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out. Romans 3:10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (We are all born sinners which is why we must be born spiritually in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven). Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The wages of sin is death, in other words our sin means that we have been given a death sentence, we have the death penalty hanging over our heads, that's the bad news. But here's the good news: the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith & this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.
B - Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was.
Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
C - Call upon the name of the Lord. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
Romans 14:11 For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." Don't wait until later, do this now. Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." "O God, I am a sinner. I'm sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son; I believe that He died on the cross for my sin and that He was buried and You raised Him to life. I have decided to place my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior, trusting only in His shed blood as sufficient to save my soul and to take me to heaven. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen."
Wow its crazy to think this hot lava is all stored underneath us right now, if the world splits and we fall well fall right into it lol
That wouldn’t be Mars would it?
Seek God and know the truth. Up is just up and down will never be up.
Recycled Planet Earth.

Get a load of the fragile snowflake threatened bus teenage girl who's done more to make a difference in in her life than you will ever in your miserable own
You know that flood basalts are responsible for almost all mass extinction events in Earth's history, right? This one is tiny, but the effects of the gasses being spewed out are very real, especially if they reach an altitude of 9-13km in Iceland. The fact that people now spew out nearly as much of the same gasses as a moderately large volcano, and have been doing it for almost 200yrs now is a serious problem. But you know, keep making your hilarious jokes, Driver.

I was expecting a Krakatoa sized eruption not a teeny weeny fissure eruption. On the Mid Ocean Ridge this is an every day occurrence
Teeny weeny fissures over millions of years can do very large things. Big-ass explosions not required! lol
