Starting to fill up more of the valley. Watching all the people milling around at the base really gives me a sense of scale. Thanks for posting these!

It’s only by looking at the scale of the size of people against the new cliffs that you realise just how thick the new basalt is. Fantastic footage, just astonishing. Thank you 😊 🇮🇸👍🏻😷🌋

Thank you for sharing these videos, they have brought to my attention one major difference between volcanoes in Iceland and volcanoes in America. That difference being that in Iceland it is apparent that the government and scientists do not prohibit the public from observing, and getting close up to the volcano.

Time lapse shows how the lava is flowing. Real time makes it appear to be barely moving. In just a few days, the valley has filled with several meters of lava over a wide area.. Fascinating.

Most excellent! Thank you for these time lapse videos. May I suggest that once you get a proper number of videos, stitch them all together into a longer timelapse?
I can't wait for #6 - watching the live stream is cool, but I am too impatient and it's really nice to see the area changing rapidly!
