I almost cried when you left behind the Boursin cheese spread! Usually at the grocery store it’s 5 for a tiny cup of it! It’s so wonderful with crackers or bread but you can also make pasta or chicken dishes with it.

Just great deals! I can barely afford to buy meat now. My son loves beef bologna and that Oscar Mayer is $7 at our Walmart. We have alot of cats and dogs and after we buy for them, household stuff, gas and about 12 medicines a month it doesn't leave much.

SO happy to see you looking so bright today! Traffic in your outdoor vids, It often sounds like a river, we had those in Oregon, you could live about 100 yards from the river and it was a rocky river and it sounded a lot like city traffic without the car horns!

What a Blessing to have all those discount stores around your area ! Great prices on the frozen area on meat and other foods ! I wish I had a store like that my cartS would have been piled high too ..of meat ( I was saying get some more meat cause meat is so high in my area..but you did get a lot ! ) , canned goods etc! I have noticed that stores in my area are constantly changing stuff around a lot more than they used to . Maybe a trick to keep us looking for stuff so we will buy more since we are looking more intently. The only bad thing is I see so many elderly people get so distressed at trying to find the items on their list because they have been moved , which is sad .. I had several of them ask me for help because they couldn’t find things and told me I’ve been looking for a long time and can’t find this item have you seen it while you were shopping ?! I tired to help them and if I didn’t know I got them an employee to help .. but I understood their frustration as it took me a lot longer to shop trying to find items too I felt so sad for them . I love to grocery shop so I’m sure it wasn’t a good time for them.. I really enjoyed seeing all those great discounts , you did good , a fantastic haul … ummmm good luck hiding some of those goodies! 😜haha! Blessings!💕
If there's a good sale, we freeze the bisquick in vacuum seal family meal portions That way we grab one for the biscuits or the pancakes and go with it. love the recipe for the coffee cake. haha.

We have the beltway from our town/city on pretty much the same distance from our house (also with trees in between). It's odd how you pretty much see that reflected in someone's video when it's your own living situation. There is a local farmer that is situated between us and the beltway and he has *so many* trees, but they also shade us from the beltway and the noise (and probably pollution). But anyway... love the video, Amy!

I wish we had these types of discount stores in NZ with these prices. Our prices we might get cents off the item and thats it.
In my Aldi, the flour, the butter, the eggs, and the pasta noodles are now rationed; you can only buy 2 or 3 of something depending on what it is. With the war in The Ukraine! They supplied us with a lot of food here in Belgium. We never max out on anything, but last time we did as we got 3x pasta noodles (500gram boxes) and we are going to do so again, this Saturday, if we can and there is a supply. And we're again bringing home a small carton of 6 free range eggs (just 3 people here) just like last time (we shop twice a week). It is very much rationed out, all of it. Thankfully we don't bake. My mom only needs flour for her white sauce every week.

Hi Amy, getting to your video a bit late today...busy day running up and down the road for one thing or another. I tell ya, With the price of gas, food, rent, cost of living in general..it's so important there are food stores people can go to that won't take all the money they have to live on just so they can eat. So many people are struggling right now. We need more discount stores, food banks etc. now more then ever! The food banks, can't keep food on their shelves. More and more people out of work, people losing their home's, it's just crazy out there....I just pray it gets easier for all, epically those with kids. You've been there Am's you a Greg ...you told us how you were able to make things work. Many people depend on people like you to show them how to make it work with what they have. Every little bit helps...I know many are thankful! Keep doing what you do :)

Watching these videos is the reason that as soon as we recently got our first home my first priority was to buy an upright freezer :) I was so blessed that the people we bought the house from left their fridge behind for us and that meant the used fridge we purchase gets to be an extra back up fridge in the garage for even more storage!!! YAY!! JAFS0027 size 6.5 would be lovely.
those Knorr soups that make a gallon! are SO GOOD! hope you tried one, all you have to do is put it in mylar with an oxygen absorber to make it last longer, as my prepper friend's know.

They don't have discount food stores where I live but I remember them when I lived in Pennsylvania! I loved the Amish and Mennonite stores. They were wonderful. :) Here (Ohio) they give the food to foodbanks which is kind of cool too. :)

Get some flat breads and salad for the gyros. Sounds like yummy stuff. I get so much jewellery from charity shops (thrift shops)

Can you imagine that we can't even get broth (beef, chicken) where I live? It is pretty much a culture of bouillon cubes (1 cube per 500ml of water). It's easy you bring water to a boil, put however many cubes you need in there, as the water "dictates", and you got soup (some pre-cut vrozen veggies in there). Done. We always get the pre-cut soup veggies (frozen section Aldi) and man, for 99cts you can't be chopping up all those vegetables!
