In this drawing tutorial I go through how to draw realistic fur with graphite pencils. I am only using two pencils for this whole fur drawing so this is a suitable how to draw fur for beginners tutorial as this is a fairly easy way to draw fur. There isn't loads of steps to this realistic fur drawing. This technique for drawing fur with pencil can be used for any animal drawing.

This is really useful and I can not imagine how long it takes you to do all of this. This has been the first time I have heard that you should use a blender to go in one direction to avoid a stop and go look. I did not know that before.

Very informative and helpful tutorial once again! I draw a lot of non-avian dinosaurs, and the filamentous feathers on some of them tend to look a lot like fur. These tips will really help a lot since it's a very similar drawing process for both of them. keep up the great work!
