Man, I want that gun so bad. I had to settle for a Bear Creek BC-45, after waiting for Extar to bring out their EP45 ACP in carbine form. It still has not happened. And then Ruger comes out with this. My Birthday is in 2 months; looks like I'm getting myself a special gift.
Mind you the BC-45 is okay, other than the fact that it has no last round bolt hold open and it is heavier than any of my AR-15 rifles.
I have the Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28 and it is a superb firearm. Now Hickok45 has got me wanting this even more. (Lucky for me, I already have a plethora of mags for this).

@@parisford2020 great point, can’t argue with that, but 10mm is such a powerhouse and my favorite caliber but yeah it’s expensive for sure, only pistol calibers I’m invested in is 22lr,22mag,9mm,40 and 10mm, hopefully the 500 bushwhacker will take off

the use case is its a heay 230 grain bulllet that is subsonic, so you can run suppressed. it makes a big hole and effective for home defense and wont blow out your ears like 5.56
