That's so funny how your luck turned unexpectedly near the end. Once, I couldn't find cloth shorts (that fit me and were flattering and a color I liked) at any second hand place for months. Only when I gave up and searched fast fashion (and found nothing) did I find 2 pairs at 2 different places the next time I went thrifting.

Fun fact: when my mom was 8.5 months pregnant (I was born around 10 days later) she had to go to a Carnival party - same as Halloween but less scary and in February. Since she was kinda big and bloated at the time, she was desperate at the thought of finding the right costume, because she felt like an Easter egg (the actual chocolate ones with the surprise inside, not the metaphorical ones). Then it dawned on her that it was a great idea and went dressed as an Easter egg, bow and glitter included. The photos are hilarious. Anyway, I really love the light brows and graphic liner look on you! And I'm so happy for you becoming a mom, you'll be the best nerdy Halloween mom ever!

I liked the one at 08:04 since it had the English lace vibes, just cut off the sleeves and put it over the blouse you got. But your end result was amazing and a lot less work ;'D
Rit always dries lighter & cherry red is more pink based! Scarlet would have been better since it’s more red based ! i use rit when i dye doll hair and it’s been a journey 😭

SAMEE!!! That's why I like to come up with costume ideas using clothes I already have and only buying one or two pieces of clothing to complete the look. I'm going as Eddie Munson, but I'm not doing the full vest and leather jacket. I'm only using the Hellfire Club raglan shirt with a pair of jeans and a chain I already have. Pretty much Eddie in the woods when he talks to Chrissy. Now next year, I'm either going to do a scary 1950s Housewife Vampire or a 70s Disco Diva since I have a vintage reproduced swing dress and a jump suit
