Sir, I have been an AS (Seronegative) warrier , My PFT,ECG (all lungs & heart related Tests) are normal. I am also on antidepressants.For the last few years, I have been suffering from chest tightness ,pain and feelings of shortness of breath in episodes. A lot of research is being done across the world as far as AS is concerned. We have got Tofacitinib in recent times due to this research. Though not much research about the exact cause is happening in India.

Hi Rajat, i am 32 years old but have AS since I was 15. Got very late diagnosed in July this year.. but before getting diagnosed I was happy.. just dealing with normal pain earlier, but after I was told I have this disease my crp esr was increased along with that pain increased , IBD symptoms came up. Severe knee swelling with water on knee, finger swelling, jaw pain etc etc... I think symptoms increase more when we take tension.. I am aslo worried like you😢

Tofacitinib rheumatologist ke guidance me le sakte ho. Bahut jyada side effects nahi hai. Oil massage kar sakte ho. Physiotherapist se exercise sikhkar regularly karna. Ultracet dard ke liye le sakte ho.

Hi sir, i recently diagnosed with AS. With hlab27+, both buttock pain while sleeping and in mri there is Bilateral acute arthiris. And my x-ray is normal. I think i am in nr-axial spa. My Rhumatlogist prescribed to take todacitinib 5mg. He not even tried nsaids. I went for second opinion with my family orthopedic. He prescribed etoshine10 mg twice, and medrol 4mg. I feeling no pain at all can i continue? Or i did Anything wrong pls respond sir.
You can continue with etoshine as NSAIDs are the first line agent. Medrol would be tapered & stopped. Do see the rheumatologist as it would be better on the long run.
Sir mujhe 1st line ki dawa sahi nhi kar payi uske baad doctor ne tofacitinib start kiye h 1 month se jyada ho gya but dard badhta hi ja raha hai kuch samjh nhi aa raha kya kare😢😢

Hi Rajat, i am 32 years old but have AS since I was 15. Got very late diagnosed in July this year.. but before getting diagnosed I was happy.. just dealing with normal pain earlier, but after I was told I have this disease my crp esr was increased along with that pain increased , IBD symptoms came up. Severe knee swelling with water on knee, finger swelling, jaw pain etc etc... I think symptoms increase more when we take tension.. I am aslo worried like you😢

Tofacitinib rheumatologist ke guidance me le sakte ho. Bahut jyada side effects nahi hai. Oil massage kar sakte ho. Physiotherapist se exercise sikhkar regularly karna. Ultracet dard ke liye le sakte ho.

Hi sir, i recently diagnosed with AS. With hlab27+, both buttock pain while sleeping and in mri there is Bilateral acute arthiris. And my x-ray is normal. I think i am in nr-axial spa. My Rhumatlogist prescribed to take todacitinib 5mg. He not even tried nsaids. I went for second opinion with my family orthopedic. He prescribed etoshine10 mg twice, and medrol 4mg. I feeling no pain at all can i continue? Or i did Anything wrong pls respond sir.
Low starch diet, stretching exercises, hot cold therapy given me the best results..
You can continue with etoshine as NSAIDs are the first line agent. Medrol would be tapered & stopped. Do see the rheumatologist as it would be better on the long run.

Yes as per Doctor's advice. These things supports us well with medicines. As Dr.SHASHANK says both are very important to control the progress
