The screenplay is by Terry Rossio (“Godzilla vs. Kong” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series) and Simon Barrett (“You’re Next”) and Jeremy Slater (“Moon Knight”), from a story by Rossio & Wingard & Barrett, based on the character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd.. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Brian Rogers. The executive producers are Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, Kenji Okuhira.

I just finished the movie and it was awesome! Honestly, people go in with such high expectations and come out disappointed. I try not to and just enjoy the moment for what it is. Without spoiling the movie, the film has a very 80’s esc soundtrack. It is a good movie I was not expecting a masterpiece of film, it’s what it need to be a: movie with great animation, and has fighting giant monsters can’t ask for more.

He did go years without combat and I suppose fight Kong and getting his @$$ handed to him against Mecha really pushed him to change

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire had me excited to watch after seeing them go from fighting to teaming up in Godzilla vs. Kong and the two trailers. This new one is very CGI heavy and I wish the team up between Godzilla and Kong was done a little better, but the effects were mostly fine, I love the further exploration of Kong in hollow earth, and Godzilla and Kong teaming up plus the two shots of them running together and of King Kong riding on Godzilla to then jumping towards the two monsters was absolute fire.
[Review without spoilers] I saw it as soon as it came out on March 27th, Korea time. There are a lot of action scenes, but there are a lot of parts that are omitted, and it doesn't feel like a monster
its kind of incredible that Japan offers dark thought provoking movies like the original 1954 Gojira while legendary offers us goofy showa era wrestling matches back and forth year after year. it's a damn good time to be a Godzilla fan!

It's a good mix. Especially for people who prefer one kind over the other. Me, I'm really glad with the direction Legendary is going. It's badass, but also campy, and I love that. It's like a mix of the Millenium and Showa styles

I watched the movie and it's called a "B.E.A.S.T. Glove" and for godzilla he evolved❤
*SPOILER ALERT⚠️* Kong hurt his arm so they gave him a boost with the B.E.A.S.T Glove. Godzilla killed a monster and went to the hideout, then he evolved. Kong and Godzilla were teaming up against S(C or K IDK)ar King and Shimo. Shimo was mind-controled she wasn't a villain. At the end Kong and Suko with Shimo were ruling hollow earth.

I'm now seeing just how divided these comments are on the movie, I thought the movie was good. But for the people who hate on it, they usually complain that it was "cheesy" or "stupid"
That's supposed to be what Godzilla is and that's what made him popular in the first place. 80% of Godzilla's movies had cheesy and frankly dumb elements.
This movie felt kinda like an old Showa Era Godzilla movie with modern day effects. I actually saw someone complain about Jia having powers and all that, they weren't HER powers. They were Mothra's. She bestowed them upon Jia to aid with her resurrection and destiny kind of stuff (which Mothra has done before in past movies, she has gifted humans.. mainly native cultures with abilities and powers)
If you want a serious godzilla movie, go watch Minus One. This movie was meant to be big dumb fun, a time where you turn your brain off and enjoy the spectacle.
I absolutely hope the Monsterverse continues to thrive forever more. I love the fact that we get different iterations of Godzilla right now, we are all eating good.

theyve been turned into pointless movie adventure monsters, all the art of godzilla 2014 and even Kong and KOTM is gone. this film looks like it's gonna be a tremendous flop.

1:00-I like how Kong actually gets into a fighting position and readies himself for combat. In GvK he either charged in blindly or let the enemy come to him.

Well, I know that that's all the Legendary Godzilla series. But I struggle to ever consider the 2014 film as the beginning, was going for 60 years before that.
