Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is directed by Wes Ball (the “Maze Runner” trilogy) and stars Owen Teague (“IT”), Freya Allan (“The Witcher”), Kevin Durand (“Locke & Key”), Peter Macon (“Shameless”), and William H. Macy (“Fargo”). The screenplay is by Josh Friedman (“War of the Worlds”) and Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (“Avatar: The Way of Water”) and Patrick Aison (“Prey”), based on characters created by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and the producers are Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr., p.g.a. (“The Maze Runner”), Rick Jaffa, p.g.a., Amanda Silver, p.g.a., Jason Reed, p.g.a. (“Mulan”), with Peter Chernin (the “Planet of the Apes” trilogy) and Jenno Topping (“Ford v. Ferrari”) serving as executive producers. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
if caesar saw what proximus did to the apes his heart would break all over again, first time it broke was when koba betrayed him and that event haunted him for the rest of his days
He would call him not an ape
just cause he called Caeser doesn't mean he is related too him. for all we know that blood line was ended and this guy family playing pretend for power.
Yeah I would’ve imagined it. I hope Noa can restored what Casear have build centuries ago.

2:00 I love how they’re surprised about the fact she can talk since humans went mute do to the virus, it’s a similar reaction to when Humans found out apes could talk
Exactlyyy lmao I was just telling my friends about that. Like nobody realized the impact on that part. Or even when the male chimp says “the elders did not tell us everything about this world” off that line alone I believe the apes in this time have the wrong idea of the past. I’m almost certain they believe they were the original dominant species while humans were always the “stupid animals” and I think Mae knows the truth and so does the mc ape.

IKR. I see a lot of peopl complaining that the CGI is worse then the previous two films, and I can certainly understand why. The CGI used in the Planet of the Apes reboot series has always been stellar. The effects in Dawn and War are breathtaking and I am seeing the same kind of magic in the trailer for Kingdom.
The effects have been gorgeous in this franchise ever since. They were great for their time in '68, then there was the Tim Burton reboot in 2001 which had fantastic make up effects, and now we have this lifelike cgi which has become rare these days.

Really? To me it seems like it's faltered. The CGI looks too obvious, which is a common problem in any brightly lit setting. It's not Marvel levels of bad, but I don't know if it looks better than War... It was probably cheaper to go with CGI than practical effects, I guess.
