Denmark *technically* has 2 micronations, there's a nation called "Elleore" from 1944, which has its own royal family and used to have its own stamps and currency.
I created a micro nation at my school last year. The only territory was a small table that could seat 8 people. 7 members total. However it’s political status is in doubt. I sent an email to Sealand requesting recognition from them. They never responded sadly.

Croatia has taken control over it and doesn't allow anyone there any longer...so not gonna happen.
Christiania on the other hand is the coolest one, although I might be biased as it is in my city.
Still, Christiania has managed to exist for almost 50 years now, and not one of our government has made a really aggressive push against this colorful anarchist hippie community.
On the contrary, it's become one of the main tourist attractions in Copenhagen.
The problems from 10 - 15 years ago were mainly the result of the hard drugs having started to being pushed in the Pusher Street.
Light drugs like weed and hash have always been tolerated.
Anyway that has since been resolved, mainly by the Christianites themselves.
Also they've made a deal with our government to legally purchase and protect that land as a cultural heritage, as well as to officially recognize the Danish laws on top of theirs.
Still they're left to enforce both their and Danish laws themselves, Danish cops don't patrol there. They pay taxes now and are legally landowners there, so Christiania lives on! :)
The Principality of Sealand, off the southeastern coast of Great Britain is the most famous micronation.
I have the flag of this Micronation and I keep thinking of buying a dukedom or a knighthood. 😀
I live in Harwich which is the closest mainland to Sealand and whenever you go for a walk along the seafront you can spot it in the far distance it's great. The prince comes here to do the shopping and I've met him🤣🤣🤣
I was gonna say this, I'm surprised he didn't bring it up! Its such a weird one
It even owns some military forces
Also recognised by Germany as a nation.
Technically, east Germany still does exist. There is an island off the coast of Cuba that was owned by East Germany. In the official papers that declared E. Germany's dissolution, the island was never included. So, technically speaking, the territory is still East Germany, so that is where Kevin Baugh says his target is.

My micronation is the grand duchy of the lagoan isles which originally owned by grand duke Louis inherited it to me
I actually created a micro nation just a month ago. Its called the Kingdom of the Three Nations. Its not recognized though
I don't have a micro nation and it is unrecognized, but I do own a world of many nations. They may not exist but to me, they do. I am my own world. I have my own flags, but among them all, one resonates the closest and it is the latest creation I have ever made.

What about the Principality of Sealand? Since I have the flag of this Micronation. If you want to become a Duke or a Baron or a Knight you can buy it from Sealands website.
Like a lot of people are saying, Sealand would be an interesting one. It's got an interesting history in terms of its formation which leads to questions about how the territory it occupies is even legally allowed to continue its existence
The Republic of Rose Island (Esperanto: Respubliko de la Insulo de la Rozoj; Italian: Repubblica dell'Isola delle Rose) was a short-lived micronation on a man-made platform in the Adriatic Sea, 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) off the coast of the province of Rimini, Italy.
In 2020 Netflix has also made a film out of it! It's called "Rose Island" (Italian: L'incredibile storia dell'Isola delle Rose); the film is based on the true story of engineer Giorgio Rosa and the Republic of Rose Island.

Any chance you could do videos about the United Kingdom as a whole but then go on to explain the relationship between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Also it'd be good to have videos about the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles. Finally Scotland has a load of islands off it's mainland which you could also cover. Lots of languages spoken across the British Isles too such as Cornish. The Channel Islands' Government is interesting as it is a crown dependant of tbe UK but has separate legal systems. You can learn more about many less well known micronations or organisations at micronations.wiki/wiki/Main_Page ! We welcome everyone to have a read, edit some articles or even make a micronation of your own!
Leaving out Sealand is a huge mistake.
But then again, they're different as Germany has actually sent a diplomat there making them de facto recognized.
Exactly, making it a micro-state. Although it has a territorial dispute with England, which became relevant when the distance of national vs. international waters changed after it was occupied and declared a nation.
Germany didn't de-facto recoginze Sealand, german courts ruled it doesen't fulfill the criteria to be a state at all. The embassy staff was dent there to get the german citizens free who were hold at Sealand hostage.
Lmao ima help with the expansion then
With regards to Hutt River Province, Prince Leonard passed away recently and his son, who took over the principality saw sense and opted to dissolve the micronation, in order to resolve the issues with the government. In a way, it was sad, as Hutt River Province had become somewhat of a tourist attraction and there was a lot of admiration for Prince Leonard and his willingness to stand up to the government. However, as the years went on and his health worsened, it was clear that his children really weren't all that onboard with his father's ambitions.

You should also mention the Kingdom of Kabuto near the city of Radom - a project of a Polish man, Mieszko Makowski who was also previously known for being a... real estate agent in the afterlife (yup, selling properties that one can get in heaven or hell, apparently he made really huge amount of money from it). What's interesting with this one is that:
1. The polish government (kinda) authorised the secession of his private land from Poland and thus the formation of Kabuto a few years ago
2. Due to one of the goals of the project being a protest against high taxes, complicated law and dumb policies and Kabuto having very minimal taxes, some (small but still) companies are trying their luck and investing in Kabuto
3. The community is still growing, with people trying to get Kabuto citizenship to this day
4. Kabuto also lays claim to a few islands near the USA and Canada which are claimed by neither of them
5. It's trying to gain international recognition and later wants to join the UN, NATO and the EU
They have a Facebook page and I think also a website if you want to check it out (though it's propably only in polish, but I could translate it to you if you want)
My favorite micronation is Vistola, but that is because I'm the founder. It's mostly for fun though, I don't take it seriously and often forget it exists. Our territory is mostly in Massachusetts with a couple uninhabited islands, a part of a swamp, and a small room. We also have another piece of territory near Liberland and south of Queen Maud Land in Antarctica (Norway didn't claim it until 2015, forming a dispute between Vistola and Norway).

I really liked your video (I'll subcribe up for you)! I can be very interested in this topic. Although I founded my own country without even knowing about them in the summer of 2017. Slovakia is our only neighbor. The Republic of Hont-Bars (my country) was founded on July 1, 2017, it was still a duchy. Then 5 days later I made it a republic. At the time, it was only 153 square meters in my mother’s garden alone. Then in 2020, I claimed all the land owned by my family. At that time, the area became much larger (exactly: 233,005 square meters). Then I started writing the constitution, which I last amended on December 6, 2021. Our population is 10 people. There is no ethnic diversity within the country because everyone is Hungarian, but there are plenty of dialects. 80% of the country speaks a dialect in the Highlands, 10% speak Interpolisi (this is one of our settlements) and 10% speak a Hungarian dialect. We do not have our own currency yet, so we are using the euro, but there are plans to create a Hont-Bars crown. Not to mention the administrative division: the country is divided into two counties (Hont and Bars) and 5 districts. Districts operate in the same way as counties but cannot have an area of more than 5,000 square meters and can be within the administrative area of the capital. I will answer another question separately (if anyone is interested in the constitution or the exact location of the country).
Look up Whangamomona in New Zealand. It's a tiny town (30ish people) that declared independence in 1988 and even have their own passports and President/Mayor. They have had a Goat, a dog and a turtle elected as president, as well as their first (human) woman president in 2015.

How did it go?
Just like when you go shopping for food or clothes and find a variety of options trying to get your money, there should be thousands of options of nations in the world competing for people and business.
Once you have many small nations like Estonia or Uruguay, it is easier to vote with the feet and go where you fit better.
Big countries such as US, India or China are not desirable because they concentrate much power and may cause interference in other nations' particular issues.
I kinda agree with this notion of having smaller countries, but mostly because that could naturally reduce massive concentrations of power.
