Dude 'thank you . The minute you did a demo of A minor up on the 12 frett it all clicked . I just followed your lead and Santana s sweet sound and I sound like I've been rockn to the blues my whole life. What a trip. Dude just keep doing what you do. Thanks again .cheers

I simply love this guy, he makes you think....about a style rather than just learning one song ...

I just started learning the intro solo as I'm a huge Santana fan. Also worth listening to his Whiter Shade of Pale version from the Blessings and Miracles album, some great tones on that!! Thanks as always Ian, you're awesome!!

This was an absolutely fantastic lesson. Great concepts and using a big hit to showcase them is the perfect way to get interest - awesome job

Thank you for this! I love your method of teaching. I got so much out of this little lesson I can't believe it! I especially love the triads Am - F - E up at the 12th fret. So cool!

    Thanks Ian.
    I've loved Carlos Santana's music since '68 . And Ritchie Blackmore's.
I guess I'm a sucker for the harmonic minor scale !

Another great video. Like the way you explain theory that is easy to understand. So much thought goes into playing a solo.

This was just what I needed to break out of my two month, myxolidian obsession. So different.

It’s an early PRS Santana. Got it about 16 years ago. Haven’t seen one like it
