You, Sir, are a GENIUS! What is so wonderful about this song, is that it offers TIME….time to explore between versus…. Explore between WORDS actually. This song and the bpm are an ad-lib guitarist DREAM. When you have such a beautiful melody, chord structure-SIMPLE CHORD STRUCTURE, it allows us guitar players ample time to create beautiful leads, fillers, etc! But Y-O-U my friend are a MASTER of conveying the information. The information that we ALL have in our heads and transferring what is in our head to OUR hand, ultimately, to the fretboard! Thank you-Thank you-Thank you!!

Best explanation of melodic solo technique I’ve ever heard. Great job.
If I can add also, sometimes leaving space (not playing) is just as important as playing.
Just like in life we have positive and negative space (my guitar is positive and the space around it is negative) music only exist as sounds and space between the sounds.

I gotta tell you, I tried your method for coming up with a good solo and it worked like a dream. I e been trying to come up with a solo for Born under a bad sign for months and did the thing where you play the vocal melody and it worked beautifully. The the lines over the 1 and the 4 have a B.B. King vibe and the lines over the resolve sound like a Santana thing. Got in one night. Also good for getting more familiar with the major pentatonic. Thanks for the best lesson ever.

I first came across stitch trying to figure out the best way to play Bertha solo, and that was an excellent video. And as you too, is they start showing you more of the channels that you watch... I subscribe to a dozen guitar channels, some do Some things better than others, but with all sincerity, the vibe and demeanor that you give off and the pace is just I want to have you over for a jam session! I'm an intermediate guitarist of 66 years old and what I just arrive from this learning. The melody first probably had more of an impact than two dozen other videos that I've watched. Keep up the good work brother and enjoy your life, thanks very much!
