- Tile is the world’s best selling line of bluetooth enabled tracking tags. They have a whole lineup of different tracking devices in different form factors and price points. They have sold over 30 million little trackers worldwide and are in 195 countries around the world. In North America they have an over 80% market share in terms of the bluetooth tracker market. Tile actually boasts a lost item return rate of over 90%, which is pretty incredible.
So needless to say I’ve been a fan of Tile for a while. But I’ve also been looking forward to some competition for some time now. The rumour mill has been churning out hints that Apple is going to launch it’s own bluetooth tracking devices, called AirTags.
Let’s discuss the different options out there, and find out if Tile is still the best choice.

I no this video is 2yrs old, but I am hoping to see a demo on how the tracker works
1:14 That looks so familiar! 🤣 I bought a cheap Nut Mini Bluetooth tracker and the device screen looks almost exactly the same! Even the same blue circle around the icon. But default is a dark mode.
Hold off folks, I’m reading reports that Apple’s Airtag is draining their phone’s battery. Not good for an accessory that you may use only a few times a year.
Interesting… will need to keep an eye on that.
It doesn't drain your phone at all lol
This distance test had surprising results. Did they do something wrong? A phone glitch or interference? The Tile Pro should have far better range than that. The Chipolo range was simply astounding! (A football field is 360 ft long) The gadget show czcams.com/video/VnRzBYv-oXI/video.html
