Just got one of these & have been thinking like it all day 😅 Amazing piece of tech. Re the rug issue when mopping - I have one large area rug in a high traffic area I’d like to mop regularly, and I’m guessing one of the virtual walls (which can project in a circle) might be able to keep it off most of my rug. So I’ll be getting one of those to test it out.

I'm grateful for the clarification in this video, especially re: Chromecast. My FIL needs a streamer so he can stop using the janky Android TV built into his otherwise excellent Sony TV. I bought him the Bell Streamer that was scattered across the country recently and is now all over FB Marketplace, but he's with Rogers and he's due for a major hardware upgrade (and a pricing downgrade) which will come with one of these Ignite boxes and I started wondering about redundancy. Which leads to another thing... It's amazing how cable companies are selling "simplicity" and "convenience" in the form of devices that obfuscate their actual functions so users are uncertain about what's tied to their ISP and what they could get any number of other ways if they took their business elsewhere. At least the Bell box is a capable 4k Chromecast w/ Google TV substitute. This Rogers Ignite box seems like the worst of both words: heavy branding and a UI made to push you to sign up for more services, plus an app selection so limited you'll still want another streaming device even if you sign up for everything on Rogers' menu.

Great review! I just got the Fire HD 10 and it now has CZcams. Granted, it's not exactly the same as the Android version since there is an ad on the very top (like a slim stripe on the top) and you have to agree when you like comments. Besides that, it's a good option.

I hata that Google has been deteriorating Google Assistant. Many more things were possible 2 or 3 years ago. When highlighting an issue to Google, they do not do any effort to fix it. Yes, someone from Google will respond in the nest community forum, but they don't fix it. Google these days seems only to be interested in AI & woke. I wish the current management would resign.

recently got 100gb canada calling for $40 a month and 3gb internet for $70. pretty solid but the internet took some complaining to a manager.

I feel like the only people using Spotify are either the ones that use Android devices or they're just using Spotify since before Apple Music took off and they don't want to switch because they don't want to lose their music library. I prefer Apple Music over all, especially since they overtook Spotify in terms of library size and I noticed that I didn't find songs on Spotify that were available on Apple Music.

I subscribed Apple Music 'cause of the fair price for the great sound quality. Spotify's discovery is better for me though, so I've made the exact same playlists on Spotify, only to use it for finding songs.

Ads are why I’m here watching and considering Premium cause as a long long time user, they used to keep the ads to a minimum for what I felt, was out of respect, but in the past two years, the ads have gotten so much worse.

Apple is like the worst Of the best professional athlete. So good, but in need of humility. To load much of my music, and books and some movies on an iPad I need over 1 tb so basically a $1,000 plus tablet.

I just received my 13. I've had the XR since it came out and love it. The battery is still at 95% and it looks new. I just felt like it was time to get a new iPhone from Apple before they quit selling it. Especially since the 13 is the last iPhone to use a physical sim card. And as a Veteran I get 10%discount, a win win situation.

I use both Apple and Google in my houses have no problems. I run on home assistant there the two work fine together

How is it with stairs? Can you map both levels at initial setup? I'm buying one for the family and I have the cheaper model in my single-story home and like you said that one just seems to run around the room without much thought, worried if this model is able to stop itself from falling downstairs.

I hate how Spotify will interrupt a song to play an advertisement. At least play the advertisement after the song ends! If that's supposed to make me love it enough to pay for a subscription, they are mistaken. It annoys me enough to send me to a competitor.

I'll give AM a shot soon. I just currently love the Spotify algorithm too much. I've NEVER seen anything as targeted and precise as that algorithm. It just gets the exact stuff I'm into. Rediscovered long lost songs and found new ones.

I had both Netflix and prime video. I just recently dropped Netflix.

I am really frustrated with SiriusXM. I have tried refreshing the signal multiple times but it just bounces randomly from channel to channel so much so that it's basically unlistenable.

I have the SiriusXM radio app and I love it. So why don’t they have a station that plays nothing but novelty records? Novelty music of all sorts like the stuff you would hear on dr. Demento. I love stuff like that too, even though they have all kinds of music to choose from and there’s something for everyone they need to add a station like that. Also, they should add international ethnic music stations, like folk music from different countries, like a Jewish folk station or, German folk or Mexican folk, you name it.

Bought this monitor in January of this year. USB ports do not function. Sent for repair March 13, 2024 and just received it back May 23, 2024. The same problem exist and now the casement has been chipped all over. Have had numerous conversations, emails, with Asus support and still they have not complied with fixing the issue and due to the casement damage they need to replace the monitor completely. Guess I will need to post this in a CZcams video.

In my opinion Spotifys music discovery has been absolutely atrocious for a long time. When I listen a song I like the discover weekly is full of that kind of songs immediately. It doesn't seem to understand that if I mainly listen my liked songs it should suggest something similar to those.

I have 5 Eufy wifi Cam B2C cameras I bought over time for a price between $50 and $60 dollars when i got them, now around $80 Canadian. I also have 2 Arlo Pro 2 cameras that were way over priced as a package with base for around $300 many years ago, I drop them they started charging subscription to record local video to work. I also have 2 door bell cameras. So I've spent about $700 over a period of 5 years. I bought Arlo first but price sucks and they don't charge in Canadians winters but will run off power cable. I have all this now and don't pay a dime in subscriptions or monthly telus fees. Telus service sucks period the only time they pay attention to a customer if they are trying to sell you more plans or get you to increase your plan. I had a rep call me on the phone and I told them about the trouble I was having with their router and she made like she was going to get service to help me out said she would here back ASAP and nothing. Must have been the end of her shift or she decided I wasn't worth the time or effort.

i used adblock with all internet. but youtube would change format sometimes and i would get annoying ads. so , i just paid $148 for youtube add free one year , my favorite internet site. and use adblock for the rest of internet.

An occasional short commercial is understandable. However the way CZcams does it it's a bombardment of commercials. A way to corner the customers into making a steep purchase that many can't afford at those prices when they are more important bills that need to be paid. It doesn't seem wise to reward bad behavior,

It seems expensive and a little conniving of CZcams to play more and long extended commercials to trap watchers into purchasing the premium plan. When the commercials are too long I just stop watching it for a few days. It shouldn't be more than six bucks but even at the higher price, you know they're going to hit for increases periodically as well.

This whole move to add ads to their streaming is bullshit especially with Amazon. They’ve got a million shows but only about five percent are worth watching. The original content that nearly bankrupted their content division was all bozo’s fault. They took old content and beloved based on novels movies and series and loaded it up with dei messaging so it was awful. I say screw Amazon. As far as the breaks in content for the ads, you can put about as much faith in the promise that the ads won’t be long or intrusive as you can that the seas are going to rise fifty feet by 2030. And last I looked Bozo, Gates and the rest of the billionaires were still buying ocean front. I’ll keep prime for the shipping but Hulu and Disney are over as far as I’m concerned. Their content is even worse. Disney handed over their writing dept to every lunatic fringe of the progressive party and all they have is lgbtq crappy content now on every show and they target kids with it despite repeated outcry from parents. Netflix is the only one that still produces passable entertainment that’s not constant propaganda for the far left. So I’m down to Netflix and hbomax. If this keeps up I’m going back to buying Blu-ray and paying for only what I want to watch. These bidding wars that went on for old content is what enabled this mess to start with. It’s greed by the hedge fund class and Hollywood that needs reminding who pays the subscription plans. I’m tired of paying to be preached at and told I’m a danger to the democracy by those that benefit most by my money.

This has 24% reviews of 3 stars and under on Amazon. Constant complaints are (1) it doesn't play nicely with Macs and (2) Asus customer support is bad. So IF you have a problem with this monitor, it seems you have a big headache in front of you.

I’m doing a six year upgrade. 😬 I’ve had my XR since 2018 and to be honest it’s been doing me pretty great, it’s just been these past 6 months or so where it’s finally been acting up on me. I’ve treated it well over the years for sure. For instance I’ve had the screen protector on my phone the day I got it 😂 Probably sounds goofy but there was no need to get a new one because it still was doing fine. The only damage I can say I have on this iPhone is there is the slightest hair of a crack on the back camera, but it goes unnoticed while taking photos and video. Overall I’ve been really happy with the XR and would recommend it to anyone, but I’m certainly ready for an upgrade and I think the 13 will be the one to take its place 🙏🏻

As a parent, I had a peace of mind when I get a smartwatch for kids, then I used it to monitor and track my kid in GPS. I have the KW2 of Easyfone. It works great for me because I still not introduce my kid much on internet browsing and gaming, so I feel more comfortable using it. :)
