- I took a Clep test online to get my last pre-requisite done before starting nursing school. I would definitely recommend it!

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL
My name is Abby, but I hope to soon become Nurse Abby! At 40 years old, I decided it was time for a career change. I'm going back to nursing school! I feel like many things lined up perfectly in life and our family, so I'm taking this opportunity to try something new.
My youngest daughter, Raelynn, has several medical complications. Among other things, she has epilepsy and quadriplegic cerebral palsy. As a result of being her mom, I've learned that I actually kind of enjoy the medical field. I've learned to use all sorts of medical equipment such as suction machines, shaker vests, nebulizers, etc. I've also taken care of PICC lines, given shots, dressed many wounds, and a host of other things. I've learned a lot of medical lingo along the way, so much that I've sometimes been confused for already being a nurse when I've been in hospitals with my daughter!
It's going to be a challenge to go back to school, but I'm determined to make it happen!

Our community college sitting fee was $20 but someone said Modern States would reimburse that! But we lost the receipt.
Not sure there's anything you can do about that. I would just be glad I got college credit for just $20
I'm 65 and want to be a registered dietitian. Don't have internet at home except on my phone. I have laptops and can go to a nearby library or my doctor's office to get online but one laptop has a virus and the other used an external keyboard (I spilt water on the original keyboard). What are the rules on the type of computers allowed? I didn't know the clep could be taken online. If it still can I'll try it if I'm allowed to do it the library or my doctor's office.
I'm not sure there are any rules for the types of computers allowed. It just needs a webcam. But you'd need to be alone (they will monitor you via webcam), so I'm not sure a library would be allowed.
Was there a person watching you while you took it or was it the computer program I’m suppose to take mine tomorrow
There was a person watching me, they could chat with me in a text box, but I couldn't see them. He would say things like show me your wrists (make sure I didn't have a smart watch on?) Once the test began I'm pretty sure he could still see me, but he didn't text me during it.
