Hey! That's my house! Tim and his crew did an incredible job. Can't recommend them enough. Wait until you see the final product. It looks so good. I used to hate our backyard, but now we make a point to hang out there every day. Thank again Tim!

That view is amazing... but to have a glass "fence"... I'd hate it, be out there constantly cleaning... I'd have to hire someone to come by every morning and clean the glass, so before I wake up, I have a nice clean view, LOL...

What would you do different if you were pouring the slab for the jacuzzi in cold climate zone 5. To prevent it from heaving.

If your WeepSkreet can not "breath" then the water that is absorbed into your stucco, and water that made its way behind it CAN NOT DRAIN!!! You MUST keep your yard atleast a few INCHES lower then your weepskreet. If it doesnt drain, where does that water go? absorbed into the drywall behind the wall causing black mold in your walls, and if the drywal over saturates, it then causes bubbleing of the paint, staining, and even flooding in doors.... also, the stucco side will weaken and you'll have big chunks of stucco coming off around the base of the house...
People need to understand what the weep skreet is and to always ALWAYS leave it free under it!!!

11:38 - Although you had a nosy neighbor, you or the home owner of the job, should have at least went and talked to the neighbor since you are technically altering his home. You are adding a curb, which could affect his home in some way. You shouldn’t talk about the neighbor, since you and the home owner are in the wrong. Someone may have talked to him, and in that case, yes, he is a nosy neighbor.

The problem with good contractors such as yourself is that they think that all contractors are good because they are good. That is not the case it is actually the opposite! A lot of contractors I would say more than 50% are bad so when the neighbor came to check on you he doesn't know you from a hole in the wall he doesn't know your work he doesn't know if you're a good contractor or a bad one. You have to understand that I would have done the same thing and saw that you were doing good work and left you alone. Please understand you are one in a thousand if not one in 5,000 as far as good contractors go

He still should have asked the neighbor first not the contractors :) before walking into his backyard.
