Nice work. Like the military, it’s not the physical part that’s the most tiring. It’s the mental part. It could be a little easy 5 yard patio pour. But if the homeowner is a pain to deal with, it makes it feel like a 30 yard pour.

Drain lines slopes should be 1/8" to 1/4" per foot of drain do not exceed these limits or drain will fail. If end of drain is lower than outflow get a sewage 30 gal sump with a sewage 120V lift pump these are reasonably priced easy to install and tough/bulletproof and run for decades w/o needing service and handle solids well and are completly hidden when installed. You are correct keep it between 1-2% and you are golden. I've always used the inches per foot for drain lines as a tape measure and a 4'+ level can then be used to check grade and most of labor I've used has a harder time with an inclinometer. By the way nice job for the Demo and site prep. Ray@@OdellCompleteConcrete

a lot of times when a track belt comes off like that you put a block where he had a jack stand and then you push your bucket down into the dirt and it lifts the machine.. but it was so much mud you would probably have to put some blocks under the bucket so it could lift its self... good luck with it...

Paint on trellis/pergola joists was likely elastomeric and is not to be used on wood that is prone to water flows or dryrot will follow which I believe is the type of rot present in your video. Painter/owner made bad choice of paint type used when trellis was painted. Ray Stormont

2 things. 1. You ALWAYS need tools for fixing small things on you maschines like a loose belt. 2. I dont understand why you never use a minidumper and mini excavator for jobs like this. Its much faster and much more versatile to use that. And why dont you have some plates or plywood to drive on when its so wet? Its just a disaster thats waiting to happend when you drive in this much mud. And its wearing much more on your maschine also.
The plywood can be reused over and over again.

4:37 lmao, dude that reminds me of palm springs. We grossly underestimated the job. I thought the concrete was all 4"consistent, no no no lol, there were like 10" spots. I thought the concrete was painted, no no no, it was epoxy. Giant thick footings on the lil 18 inch brick wall, planter box, and grill. Great learning experience, exposed some shady business partners, etc. If you go to the desert, expect super thick concrete😂, I realized, everything is sand, so it made sense.

Only 1 tried not paying final payment and I'm a woman, I took zero B.S. and replied I will have my men tear up what we've done while I call police.
