The Kaabo Mantis 10 Range and Speed Test

- Finally, got the chance to ride the Mantis 10. It wasn't brand new so I was expecting to get lower range than the company claimed range. But before getting out, I set my goal of getting at least 40km of range and hope that I won't be walking after 40km. But again, I was blown away of the result.
Now considering the result of my range test, I recommend the Mantis 10 to anybody whos looking for a scooter with decent acceleration and speed while being lighter than the other models in the same category and most importantly, satisfied of the RANGE.
My Range Test Video will always be longer, as I intend to show you how long and where the scooter goes. Cutting my video and just showing you a few updates during the range test wouldn't be fair to you, especially if you are thoroughly choosing your first or next scooter and considering any of the scooters I tested or will be testing in the future.

Thanks for the video! So you managed 45km of range with an average speed of 35-50km/h, right? That's a great result, mate! I only averaged around 20-24km on a 2nd gear, dual motors. With a speed up to 45km/h. Probably sth wrong with my battery, 18.2AH, Chinese cells.

Get the 10 version. They cost the same, weight is about the same, but 10" tyres are always better for a comfy ride. The only issue I have with my Mantis 10 are stock 10x2.5" tyres - they are crap. Hardly handle the dry roads and absolutely don't hold the slightly wet pavement after a light rain. I would recommend the 10x3" hybrid tyres instead.
nice test :) a drive with kaabo mantis 10 . 800 wat.. my weight is 90kg i run max 55km on full battery.. its very nice scooter:) then i m thinking o buy pro version :))
Don't buy a PRO :)) not worth the price difference. Either get a base v2 model or a King GT ;)

Where do you usually use your Mantis? Is that a single motor version?
I think I'd agree. Because the Mantis Base V2 and the Mantis King GT have higher water resistance rating and also sine wave controllers. There's also Mantis Pro V2 24ah. But some countries have none of these models. Here in Thailand they're not available so the Mantis Pro old model is the only option.
Man if you love the feel of it and it suits your needs, then no need to get the other options I mentioned. But just be sure that the shop has all the services you need. I like the mantis 10 ride. Very light, smooth, decent range and the design is really sexy. not boxy body.
I have a kaabo mantis single hub. I was able to reach 60 to 73km on mode 2. But if i did mode 3 all the way i can only reach 45km.
With one motor or dual motor you achieve this results ?

What's your battery version? And how fast were you riding when to reached 73km on mode 2 and 45km on mode 3
I have 24,5ah lg mantis 10 im not sure it is the pro or the gt or something else. my maximum range is 45km 50% of the time using dual motor turbo and 50% single motor ,gear 3 90% of the time
Almost similar to my riding style bro. Getting 45km out of 24ah battery means you must have some hilly roads or you're a bit heavier than me. And I consider getting more than 40km range as a very decent range for a scooter. 😃👍

Mine burns through the battery really fast with all the hills around here. Probably 18 to 20KM range.
What battery version do you have?
Just got my mantis 10 base model one engine it only goes 15 mph on gear 3 its a joke its heavy scooter so the speed is way to low for it will try to return it
Dual motor Mantis will give you 45 mph bro. I suggest return that one and get the dual.

Yes. I don't install on my other scooters because I could easily turn my body and head when I need to check my back. But if it's not on your case, please install brother. It would help you a lot.

Man, you're right. It feels heavy everytime because my head is always against the wind and so I don't get the full top speed. 🤣😁
However, this gives me more confidence because it offers better protection. But yeah your right 😁
@@scooterontravels6777 🐍Yeah it's a downhill mountain bike helmet where you only go about 20 mph in the trees where there isn't any wind resistance. Time for you to buy a more aerodynamic helmet for higher speeds and more protection.
And then you will have the right helmet when you buy a bigger faster scooter‼️

@@scooterontravels6777 I`m not sure it offers more protection really it rather just keeps shade from the sun. The one on my helmet at least is made from very thin and soft plastic. Removed mine on day one cz of aero and haven`t had a reason putting it back on.
