The CAPTIV8 is a fun one to throw! Watch as I harness the power of clutch bowlers like Dave Husted and Mike Aulby in this review and be sure to post your answer in the comments! #DV8Bowling #CAPTIV8 #BrunsNick
Of all the new Big B umbrella balls, this is the one I'm most interested in. I'm rev dominant, and my house shot very light volume. Need more low end and weaker mid level balls. There just aren't as many choices down there as there used to be.
Solid form with the Aulby ball drop to start his approach. I’d agree with Aulby as clutch. Jim Pencak had a stretch back in the day of domination and clutch bowling. Norm Duuuuuuuuuuuuke absolutely clutch (and IMO the most versatile game of all time).
Even when I know I need a weaker ball I always am reluctant to switch up. Thanks Nick... You never gave me that ball speed I kept waiting for the Specto to pop on, lol.
Sorry about that! Didn’t have my executive producer with me and I was flying solo this shoot. I’m likely going to film some more this weekend, I’ll get that Specto data so you can win/lose your bet lol
Ball speed throwing Urethane 18.25MPH (13.79mph at the pins) Ball Speed throwing resin from big dot 17.62MPH (13.33mph at the pins) Ball Speed playing much deeper angles 16.79MPH (12.82mph at the pins) 330 RPMs Hope that helps
Hand sprain during a tournament circa 2005. Couldn’t put any pressure on my ring fingertip, specialist basically told me nothing I could do about it except time off and stretching. I discovered the grip and there hasn’t been pain since.

I’m like you. Its the Captiv8 or the Sneak Attack in my opinion.
@@chuckbaker9196 thanks for your thought. i missed the sneak attack. this would be the best alternative.

My clutch bowler is Parker Bohn III. :)
Agree
I have the hellcat xlr8 and the captiv8 will they bot compliment one another
Curious, how would you compare this to the Night Road? In a 3 ball arsenal can they both fit in one bag or is that maybe not recommended
Don’t know, sorry.
@@brunsnick lol all good man
Is there a particular reason why you use a Sarge Easter grip?

Comparison with the track sensor?
Maybe! We shall see.
I'm looking to get this ball to compliment the zen thoughts?
Not sure about competitor products sorry. It should be a step down.
@@brunsnick awesome thanks 👍
Clutch Bowler: Back in the day: Earl Anthony. Today: Parker Bohn III
Hi
For what lane oil is this ball best?
Alex
Medium to lighter oil.
Clutch player?…. Earl Anthony, hands down.
