    Really one of the best reviews. 4 door V6 BaseSquatch is coming soon. Thats more budget friendly.

    Very informative & objective video. Originally I placed my order for a 2dr Black Diamond, non Sasquatch. Accessory switches, rear locker, washout floors were all appealing (utility, functional, price for trim). After attending Off Redeo in Nevada I was pushed to MY22. Placed my new order, changed to Badlands, 2dr, non Sasquatch, Mid Pkg. Personal choice: 1st & probably last new vehicle I'll ever buy. All the standard, warrantied off road capabilities - whether or not I push all that technology to its limits, time will tell. But having it if needed 👍

      Thanks Adam! The Badlands Sasquatch combo will be amazing with the 2-door wheelbase. Sounds like an absolute blast!

    Excellent review. I have a 4 dr Black Diamond with 2.3 engine and auto trans being built next month. Will eventually get the hard top option and upgrade to 35 tires before going off roading in Moab. Thanks.

    I’m hanging in there for the Stage 3 of 5-6 years ago. The 2009-2014 Ford Expedition project truck was the reason I subscribed. Even from Canada I’ve called into the shop Re a technical question on that project and received a great response. Thank you.
    What I hope you can do is a 2022 Timberline Expedition project build like you did on the 09-14 generation

      Guess stock Timberline can do 35’s, so I wonder what aftermarkets would be needed (if needed/or available) could do 37-40’s. Also what suspensions would be made (eg. Bilstein) as well as differential lowering or out half shaft extensions (if needed). Finally if if it’s body on frame, and where split lines might be, if body lift 2” was done.

      Something else I haven’t been able to figure out. Is the Expedition Timberline available with lockers front/rear what kind or does it have (ideally?) torsion gear

    Great video! I would have been a little clearer that some of the options were only available as bundles. Took delivery of matching his and hers Cactus Gray Bronco Badlands Sasquatch 2.7 and Bronco Sport Big Bend today... super happy.

    Another great review - key information delivered in a factual and succinct format. Thank you. You are one of the few people that I follow who has driven both the manual and automatic Bronco transmission options around town and off road. Do you think the smaller engine with the manual transmission, in the Sasquatch package, will have enough power to still be a fun and usable vehicle? I ask only because I prefer a manual transmission but I am worried about the smaller engine. Thank you.

      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety

      Much appreciated Des! In my opinion the smaller 2.3L with the manual is still plenty capable of pushing a sasquatch Bronco around and I think the manual offers a level of engagement and fun that's hard to beat. The 2.7L with the 10-speed is downright quick, but like most modern cars it also feels a bit disconnected. For some folks that's great and they just want to hammer the throttle going up on ramps, but I've never felt like an off-road trail rig needs to be "fast". The pep of the 2.3 combined with the fun of rowing through gears is a more enjoyable experience to me and it's still quicker than my own V6 4Runner or our V6 Tacoma project truck.

    Great video and I agree with a lot of what you said. Also, ACFabb already has manual sway bar disconnects. I have them on my BB Sasquatch

      Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I had a feeling it wouldn't take long for there to be a manual disconnect option on the market. How do you like them?

      @@NoahStage3 You’re welcome. It’s nice to see someone hit on a lot of points and offer different perspectives.
      As far as the quick disconnects go, I haven’t been off-road with them yet, but initial impressions are positive.

    I really appreciate your take on the Bronco and the difference between trims. I have a Badlands on order currently and still waiting of course. Luckily I was able inherit a Black Diamond non-Sasquatch 2.7 4DR order recently and I took delivery month ago. I love it so far and I was able to do some upgrades to it. I was able find take off Sasquatch suspension from a first edition and take off Sasquatch wheels/tires from a Wildtrak.
    So basically it’s the Sasquatch package without the gearing. I just have the 4.46 locking rear diff that comes with the black Diamond . Do you think it’s worth the upgrade to the Badlands, I don’t know if I need a front locker. I know I’m not going to do crazy rock crawling, I would be going on trails like you had in this video and the black Diamond video you made.

    • @NoahStage3
      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety

      Thanks Patrick! The Badlands package is obviously excellent off-road, but with your home-made sasquatch conversion on the Black Diamond, I don't think you'll need to upgrade. All the trails and terrain we covered in this video could still be done in a Black Diamond rig with just the rear locker and 35s, so you should be able to get almost anywhere you'd ever want off-road in that setup.

    The new Bronco is perfectly suited for Australia. I do hope Ford expands the Bronco sales to Aus.

    • @NoahStage3
      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety +1

      Agreed. It's kind of surprising that Ford hasn't already pushed sales to Aus considering the success of the Ranger out there. Fingers crossed they change their minds!

    The trail turn assist isn't useful on desert washouts' like you were on - it is very useful for tight trails we have on the east coast / south east - foothills & mountains.

    What drone did you use to film this?

    • @stage3motorsports
      @stage3motorsports  Před 2 lety +2

      It's a custom built FPV drone with a GoPro Hero 8 on it. Not a cheap setup, but the footage is amazing.
