factory skids on SUV's almost always leave gaping holes between cross members, leaving the cross members to act like anchors on these sorts of obstacles. More clearance would help, but so would a better skid plate design. I bolted 1/4" plate to the bottom of my H3. Picks up from behind the factory front skids and goes all the way back to the rear-most cross member before the rear driveshaft dips down and it transitions to the gas tank skid. No more big holes between cross members to get anchored on. Where it used to hang up on obstacles like this, it will usually drag itself through now.

    • @TheStoryTillNow

@@vitaminb4869 for sure a lot of factors to consider and every situation is different. I also have no idea the pressure but in some pictures the footprint looked quote long. Shawn is very experienced and I wasn’t there so can assume it wasn’t something that would have benefited him.

I love the shock mount bolts under the arm, just begging to be sheared off on the trail

Why on earth are they wheelin’ without a single set of traction boards?? :-) incredible scenery, great video. Pretty impressive that a stock Bronco was able to keep up with all the lifted jeeps. Yeah, a small lift and some 37‘s might be in order lol

You mentioned PPF. Given the pinstriping, was it worth it? Anyway to heal it?

Works great. All the scratches are gone from self healing in the sun. I’ll post a clip on IG at some point.

Amazing how many folks get turned around by tight trails. I love it when that happens. Little bit of "BC Pinstriping" is a good thing!

Really nice scenery Great adventure but don't bring a new toy to an old party The other kids don't care that your toy is nice and shiny there's are already scratched up Sometimes fitting in means squeezing your way through the crowd thanks for sharing what a bronco can do off the showroom

Should get you two (you and Casey) up here to Alaska so we can show your our forms of pin-striping I totally agree with you that exploring trails out in the country in small groups is the most enjoyable. Big long lines of vehicles just get tedious really quick.

Thank you for showing us some rarely seen trail in Moab. I don't think you need the clickbait tile and the overdramatic music for getting ever so slightly high centered. A little momentum would have you sliding right over that stuff - at least the camera makes it look that way.
