    I can’t wait to see all the Jeep guys say “Oh well my Jeep wouldn’t brake” “my Jeep would have taken it” “my Jeep could have made it” “this is why you buy a Jeep” “oh well my Jeep” “my dad’s cousins brothers friend Jeep could have”

    I had all of those codes at KOH going down an endo style decline in 4H. Too lazy to wait for 4-Lo (it takes forever). I’m fairly sure I triggered the collision avoidance at such an extreme downhill angle. Anyway, I drove around for 30 minutes pissed off that my lockers didn’t work. I should have taken it to the Ford booth in Hammer Town, but it reset shortly after the 30 minutes. Never had that issue again. I had considered doing the battery disconnect to reset but I was afraid it wouldn’t start again. Now I keep jumper wires to hot wire the lockers. Screw all of the other traction control stuff.

    They called it the right side because that is what the passenger side is. Left and right in a car is based on sitting in the driver seat.
    That's how all manuals are written and documents from a dealer.

      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety

      Yes sir, you got it. Most folks don't know that though, so that's why I made sure to specify in the video that they were referring to the passenger side. Just trying to cut down on confusion for everyone.

    As I was listening, I was thinking ABS speed sensor.... Its a simple inductive device that feeds countless systems, including rollover avoidance, et al.
    In the older Fords, it would of been the infamous RSC system failure.
    Good to know they fixed the root cause, the seal, and replaced all the related parts.

    My 2016 4Runner never had any issue whatsoever other than airbag recall from Takata. I have been owning for 6 years now and have taken it out on many long road trips on several continents(20 or so countries) and has done several medium rated off-road trails. I cannot afford any recalls or fixes by dealer as I live overseas there are no Toyota dealers sometimes and they would not honor US bought vehicle for warranty. Also do not mention about gas quality in certain countries where octane 70 is the best you will find and 4Runner did just fine with that fuel. What can I say it’s a less complicated proven old technology that works.

    The real issue with all new vehicles is to many features, sensors and relying on electronics for something that is based on mechanics. Example, pulling a cable to open and close air vents versus having electronics send a message to a motor to open a vent. Example 2, shifting a mechanical shifter to engage gears in a transfer case vs. pressing a button to send a message to a motor to shift mechanical gears.

    Disappointing. I traded my '21 Gladiator in because of multiple issues that weren't fixed by jeep. All under 20k miles. I hope future Broncos are better. No problems with my Ranger Tremor 🤞

    • @NoahStage3
      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety +2

      That's a bummer the Gladiator didn't hold up for ya, but the Ranger Tremor is a great alternative. Our 2019 Ranger has proven to be a real solid rig as well.

    Supposedly the 2.7 broncos have been having a lot of problems

    • @NoahStage3
      @NoahStage3 Před 2 lety

      The stories I've heard about them dropping valves and blowing up are definitely worrying. Hopefully Ford gets it sorted out quickly because I always felt it was a pretty solid motor in the F-150s

    • @EvolvedTactical
      @EvolvedTactical Před 2 lety +2

      The problem with 2.7s dropping valves was tracked back to a bad batch of valves Ford got from a supplier. The issue has been worked out, the lot of vehicles identified, and notices sent to owners. Fortunately, my Badlands was built shortly after the bad batch was last used, so mine should be good. 6k miles, and it drives great.

  • @96kylar

      @stage3motorsports  Před 2 lety

      We've heard some horror stories about that. So far the 2.7 has been running flawlessly in our Bronco, but we're keeping our fingers crossed

    • @EvolvedTactical
      @EvolvedTactical Před 2 lety +1

      The 2.7s dropping valves is limited to a certain run, caused by a bad batch of valves that Ford received. It's been identified, and Ford is making it right.
