I like the squared off look more, but the quality of this product seems/looks ALOT better than factory!

I',m 90days in on this top and it is 100% better than factory. Back window definitely stretches in quickly and give much more access to rear cargo. I do wish they made this in a full square back version. It does make the Bronco look smaller. Only other complaint is, its almost impossible to fold it back by oneself. There is no lift assistance at all. Also would recommend blue Loctite on armature screws that pivot. I've had 4 back out so far. NO LEAKS, No saggy windows, No rib bars showing through. Less road noise. Easy rear access. Its worth it!

I have the hardtop but ordered a soft top during the ordering process. When I received my Bronco they actually gave me a bestop trektop instead of the factory one. Go figure. But I like that it does not go all the way down. No one is sitting there and if I have cargo it’s still kind of protected. But that’s just me. No frills kind of dude.

That is a great top. For years Bestop made the OEM Wrangler tops for FCA (maybe still do) and their quality was always really good. Not sure who makes the OEM soft tops for the Bronco but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Bestop.

I like the the smoother look of this top, but the factory top is pretty good in my opinion. The frame and mechanism on the factory is more sturdy, and it stays put well in the sun rider position without bouncing around. I have no qualms with the quality of the fabric, as good as any I've seen on Jeeps. The window installation looks to be about the same. I'm glad this option is available, as no soft top lasts forever and I'm sure OEM tops from the factory are pricy.

Had Bestop Trektop Slant Back soft top installed on 2021 Hard Top 4 door Outerbanks by a ford dealer (The 1st one in the area) at time of purchase. Love the top. Issue: The side flaps on top that you state ford has loose issue with, so do we. Is there a way to tighten the top sides on so they don’t flap in wind? 4:45

So . . . 3+ years later - are you still using the Bestop?

I prefer the slant back look but I understand why Ford designed it the way they did.

We installed this on my 4 door bronco . watched the video then again while we were installing . It has a subtle wind tunnel noise inside like a low drum that bothers my ears like hen one window is slightly down. My factory soft top did not have this, it was super quiet ( but dont like the wrinkled sagging look reminds me of a a wagon) . I have corrected most of the flapping with foam rolls around the bars but cant seem to get rid of the wind stream noise when going over 50 . Also Bestop had me relocate the pin back 1/4 inch to tighten the cable. still way louder than my soft top . Many others have said its quiet. Before i go through the hassle of the warranty ... any Suggestions?

I have a hard top. If I install this soft top then go back to the hard top will I need to remove every bracket again? It seems like a lot (not for the initial install but if I'm going to go back and forth seasonally). I'm worried I'll go soft top and then when winter comes just say "screw it" and keep the soft top on.

@@Jason-zi3vj I'm opting for the hardtop Jack that pops the hard top off and also will store nicely in my garage. It's cheaper and I think there's too many downsides to switching back and forth every season (compared to having it be easier to pop off)

You have to take the brackets off. Not compatible with the hard top. Which is a bummer.

I really hate that I have to spend $1500 just to get back to the same place I already was. I swear, Ford should have to cover half the cost of replacing your soft top, since they did such a crap job engineering theirs. I've had Jeeps with soft tops and they are 100 times better. The buckle system for the windows is absolutely horrible, since you have to have your hand in the opening you're trying to close in order to close it. Which makes absolutely no sense and makes it extremely difficult. The way the top overlaps the windows in the back it barely covers them and the Velcro doesn't even line up. The sides, are just absolutely absurd. You should not be able to just slide your whole arm in there. The whole thing is a joke. It's loose, and lumpy, and just looks like you threw a loose blanket over the top of your bronco. I will definitely be getting the trek top, but it still sucks to spend $1500 just to fix Ford's crappy engineering, especially when $1500 SHOULD be enough to buy a hardtop.
