I fought my factory top for years till it got to the point where I had to use vice grips to get the windows in and out. I took them out in April and no matter what never put them in again till September because it was such a nightmare! And I live in Washington State. I started shopping for a new top and just didn’t wanna pay the price for a Bestop but I finally broke down and bought a NX Glide a couple of years ago and it’s been one of the best mods I’ve done for the Jeep. Much warmer and much quieter than the stock one was, and the ease of sliding the windows off and on is amazing! I’m so glad I went with Bestop. Their customer service is also one of the best customer services I’ve ever dealt with and you’re right the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. I tell people all the time it’s worth every penny and don’t waist your money elsewhere! Just wish I had the expertise of Brittney helping me when I did mine! 😂 Sry Kevin. And love how Jelly was sun tanning during the install! This is why you guys are so great because you share everything with us on the trails and the equipment you have and the installs! Keep up the great videos!
I just installed this on my Jeep with the help of my dad & friend Donny. It took about 3 hours, I’m super excited cause it arrived just in time for Extreme Terrain’s Go Topless Day!

I installed the BestTop ultra on my jeep last month. Took me about 5 hours because I thought I didn’t need to read the instructions and I put a few bolts in the wrong holes. But I corrected my mistake by finally deciding to read the instructions and it came out great. I love the BestTop Ultra on my jeep. 👍👍

Yeah, definitely get one. I really wanted one, but didn't want to spend the money on a new JL, so I got a used late model 4Runner instead. Every time I see a JL though, I wish I had just gotten what I really wanted.
These new tops, are so much better than the older tops. I like the Bestop NX as well.

You guys crack me up every time! And I know the Gladiator is tricked out awesomely and a great ride, but I'm in love with the Stepchild, especially with this new top. I hope the Velcro works as well as the slides on the back sides.

I just traded in my tj for an jlu and it had a hard top. I definitely want one of these. I was thinking of doing hard top for winter and soft top for summer but I think it might get old switching even just twice a year.

Great vid as always! Interested to see two things about your experience because I’m really interested in this top.
How it behaves on the highway with the top back, but not all the way down (it looks like it may really catch the headwinds). And long term, how it fairs in rain. I’m learning that some of the products y’all run in dessert-like conditions aren’t always so water tight for us in the northeast.

I love the zipperless design, but no more rolling up the rear window. Unless you just don't give a shit how long it lasts. And we all want to see your reaction the first time you open the front door when it's raining. Everybody loves waterfalls, right? :-)
Just now seeing this. Is this something you can take off and put on or would you suggest leaving it on? Love this option for summer, but winters here are cold and feel the hardtop would be best during that time. Any input is appreciated.

Have you guys ever looked at the full electric mytop? Really cant find much for reviews on it, except from the manufacturer. Makes me skeptical. By the way nice review here, this is on my list of choices.

Love my trektop on my Jeep. Be careful of the pins that go up top for the side windows. If you set the pin on the window material it can dent it.

Awesome video guys! … Question: Do you HAVE to remove the back window to slide the top down? Or can you just unhook the sides of the back window and leave the top of the window attached to slide the whole thing down?

Hmm.. I like the slide seam at the top of the quarters on my side quarters of my Trektop NX not sure about how I feel about them replacing that with velcro.. it’s super easy for me to slide the quarters in. New top looks good on the SC tho!
would you know by chance where I can purchase a storage bag for this specific soft top? I have the slant back and I'm struggling to store my windows!
That new top has got to worth an extra 75 hp not to mention the 50% improvement in the oh so cool factor.
The new Bronco is coming soon, it could use some of your testing & building 🤔
That new Bronco will be such a better platform for mods. Factory half-doors removable fenders, and a top that you can break down and stow in the back! Cool thing is all the modifiable parts are marked by Bronco stamped screw. The aftermarket will be great!!
I luv how when the bolts get torqued dirt flies out, that’s better than a can of air.Since bestop pro has the glass in it did you skip that version originally due to storage while out & about ???
