An ult that makes your Defense turn into your attack and gives you passive shields is always good.

The issue is that a lot of EA's Games aren't even fun. Doubly so once they start inrtroducing the loot boxes.
That's the REAL insideousnes of Genshin is that it's a lot of fun to play along the way no matter how much money you spend.

Your weapons don't break here so you don't exactly have to grind to repair them. You grind to level them up
Weapons are the easiest grind in the game
You dont repair them in BOTW. You just reobtain them (which takes about 10 mins if you know where they are)

Looking back, it took genshin 9 months to finally look different and become its own game. It will just keep getting bigger from here, as Mihoyo's Honkai impact has been running for 3 and a half years. Who knows how long this game will continue pumping monthly content.

no one knows how good genshin truly is until they have played it and progressed the story, and as someone who has been playing zelda for a long time and botw since day 1 plus dlc, i say Genshin beats botw, and eventually you will like Paimon

I have Keqing in my first pull but I never got another 5 star in all my 4 pulls since.
@Beer Senpai lmfao same. I pulled 4 times on weapon banner. Not 4; 10 pulls. 4x single pulls. 3rd pull I got lost prayer 5* and 4th pull I got wolf gravestone.
I wish it ended there. 30 minutes later I decided to do a few single pulls on standard banner as I had 23 acquainted fates from player. FIRST SINGLE PULL = Mona.
I think I used up my luck for a year.
My friend hates me. Got Diluc on my first Venti pull, and then Klee on my first Klee pull. My second beginner pull gave me Mona.
Same scenario but in the end he had trouble leveling them up. I had the traveler and Barbara and thats all i need.

Yeah it really feels like a Tales game to me, especially in the designs. But the gameplay feels more like the newer Ys, and the potions remind me somewhat of Atelier. The German and Eastern inspired portions on the map remind me of Erebonia and Calvard from the Kiseki series.

Pretty much. The game straight up tells you what it is, but it's so fun that you can excuse the money grab.
I really don't understand all the bitching on this game's gacha system. It doesn't matter at al in order to enjoy the game. You gain literally 6 -7 free characters in the beginning, at least one from each element. And absolutely don't need more than these to progress or enjoy the game. Having more characters are only for looks since they do basically the same: apply an element on the battlefield, and nothing more.
Husbandos and Waifus > Gameplay. Duh.
@@lordpaulphilippfernandez9904 That's because the game does force you to waste money to be OP. The top tier characters are all from the Gatcha. The best DPSs are all Gatcha pulled, Diluc, Klee, Keqing, even Razor and Ningguang need a few more constellations to be really OP. Completing the game does not equal being OP. If you want to be overpowered and maximize your damage, you need those Gatcha characters and weapons. There's no way to achieve those maximum levels of damage without spending.
@@amberknight7301 And why you need to be OP? Like in HI3rd top places only give you like 10-15% more rewards by consuming much more time and money.

But for you op is be good. Be in top or something if i am correct. Judging for Honkai Impact 3rd (same developer) you can go in top 10% just with f2p gear and characters. You just need skill.

The statement of other games piggybacking off of genshins success and monetization is actually really true. I'm looking at you Tower Of Fantasy! As well as the ones that never got off the ground.
Honestly, the only thing you got to do to avoid the money trap is play casual and don't get invested in character collection. Tough, but doable.
Yes, with discipline it's doable 👍 I like genshin for the story and lores, and trying to maximize charas and equipment i currently own so i can enjoy the story development

@@korvusmangata9007 lol they aren't the same game. They have been developed by the same company Mihoyo and their name may sound similar cuz of Impact but they are different. It's also most likely that the story of both games are interlinked in some way

Almost one year on I still have not spend a dime on this game. Yes I don't have Diluc, Jean, Zhongli, Venti, kazuha, keqing, Childe but it's still ok and game is playable.

Instantly got me there and it just kept getting better. This is true honesty.
Do I like gacha mechanics? No. I have found them extremely addictive for me in the past.... HOWEVER, The game actually rewards you with the gacha currency for playing. (Like a lot) Especially the special events. It's pretty easy to get to 2k primogems by playing the game... I've only spent 6.99 on this game and for the amount of content I've gotten, that's really good.
