Thanks! I had just got this guitar so I don't know what kind or gauge of strings. And yes, it sounds absolutely beautiful, acoustically or through an amp. I sold my Eastman T59V to buy this and I have no regrets. It was an awesome guitar but this gets the sound that I've been hearing in my head.
I'm trying to narrow down some choices for a hollowbody 330 style myself, transitioning from soley acoustic playing to explore electric. The only other contender is collings i30lc and maybe Heritages 530, but Collings is obviously way more expensive.. however it's touted as being very feedback resistant. have you had the chance to see what level of volume it takes to make this get unruly with feedback?
@@user-kx2uz6vo9g - I recently did a video on my YT channel where I was playing with some overdrive. It sounded great but I haven't used it in a band setting where it needs to cut through the mix. There is also a great video of Shawn Tubbs playing one of these with quite a bit of distortion. It sounded great!
