In this part 2 of my flight test of this awesome big EDF I explore the low drag, faster flight, of the Rafale but removing the missiles and secondary fuel tanks after I have an accidental belly landing during a low slow high alpha fly by. I can always turn a negative into a positive !

Well done guys, many would have chosen not to fly in those conditions so top marks
I'd rarely fly if I waited for the perfect day 😆
Great control Dom, at least the bombs took the hit. Brave to high Alpha in that wind 🫡
Very strong breeze (like real windy); oh, it will be fine
Good job guys showing the good and the bad 👌
Yup...that's what we do. Appreciate the feedback Steven !
Hi Dom thanks for making this video in those poor conditions sir. I am also VERY glad not much damage as this in my opinion a amazing jet from FMS. Take care Sir 🇬🇧
If it's dry, we fly ! 😆
Well at least we know the Rafael doesn’t like to belly land!
Have you installed the smaller 3D printed nozzles?
Makes a huge difference. Lots more thust. I can hover mine and still have power to go vertcal out of a hover.
Can I ask what packs you are running, I’ve got some Yowoo Graphene 6000 but am moving the reflex forwards to allow the pack to sit further back, it’s nowhere near the correct balance otherwise.
4 max 6S6000
Take 1, oops, ok take the bombs off
Take 2, ooops, ok maybe a bit to slow.
Take 3, ok I’ll land it as the wind is too blustery too be a great flight.
Well done Dom considering the conditions.
which place is this ?
Ground effect creates more lift. It doesn't cause crashes!
Nice one actually makes crashing quite pretty that plane 😂,
👍
🤣
Hi Dom, what RX receiver was used on this jet?
FrSky X8R
@@EssentialRC got it, thanks. Is it possible to put TBS crossfire receiver in there?
Of course. No reason why not. Bit overkill unless you are going to fly it FPV though.
Please answer me can I get this in india

Looks like you were having fun. I cant help but think that pack weight was holding you back though.
It's a fine balance. For fast flying the 6000 pack is fine but for high alpha it needs to be lighter. I'd probably try 4000 to 4500 packs next. It'll be a lot more agile.
@@EssentialRC I completely agree, keep up the great work.
@@EssentialRC Yeah I agree. 6000 mah way to heavy for high alpha. I fly my Freewing mirage on a 4000 mah. Much better in high alpha then and more chance of pulling out when you're getting close to the deck. Also because the 4000 mah pack is so light it is quite surprising how little affect it has on flight duration because you aren't using loads of power all the time to account for extra weight. The most I go now in all my models is 5000 mah. 6000 mah are just too weighty.
