I had buddies at that Corson Murphy brawl outside of Barrie. The old guy of the Murphy's had a wooden leg and took it off and was using it as a club to fight back against the Corson's. Crazy stuff..

The Shayne Corson interview was all time. Those stories were fantastic. I remember playing in a Pee Wee tourney in ST Louis, they played Boston and getting to see Hull, Gretz, Corson, Mcinnis, Pronger, Demitra, Neely, Bourque all play... Absolute Legends of the game

The whole conversation was about drinking, bars, strip clubs, partying and carrying on. I didn't like that at all. Shayne should have talked more about his linemates in Montreal and the all-star game with Pat LaFontaine & Stephane Richer on the same line for the 1989/90 festivities.

I dated a girl who’s dad was involved with the Brantford Alexander’s in the OHL. He told some stories about those guys and Probert and why they traded him. Also went to college in Hamilton. Long story short we were at a party at some house and some guy tried to get in. Long and short he smashed a hole theu the door and stuck his head thru. Someone hit him with a bat head on. I was like oh shit and thought he was dead. He shook his head and said no you’re dead. He was pulling the door frame apart with his hands etc. we all bailed theu the back jumping out of windows like it was on fire and took off. That’s was scary.
the guys that came up in the 70s and 80s ,you will never hear stories like that ever again ,scenes right out of slapshot,Corsie is fuckin monster ,I could listen to these stories forever

It's a pretty well known fact that Souray was a lady magnet-playboy in Montreal. Even Souray admitted that he had more success in bars and discos in Mtl than on the ice. I always knew Shayne was a beauty but have so much respect for what he's done not only on the ice but outside of hockey too. Did you notice how many times he referred to someone else as "a good person"? Definitely know what's important to him. Warrior for life.

When Chez Paree was mentioned boy did that bring back memories. Super Sexe and Paree were two of the best peeler bars in Montreal. I think Chez Paree is still going. Great looking women and great times. Ah to be young again.

The biggest thing that Dubois has done in Winnipeg is he allows Maurice to run his top 2 lines against the oppositions top 2, and that leaves Lowry/Copp/Appleton to run against the opposition #3, instead of checking one of the top 2 lines, and they are as good as any 3rd line, and better than most, so they are scoring goals. Sometimes they are head and shoulders the dominant line in the game.

In trophy hunting animals like that they use all the parts and usually most of the animal goes to villages or people in that area that need food so it’s not all bad, still love elephants too though!
It's also typically the older, aggressive males that get hunted to allow the younger males to breed more and keep the population levels healthy.
