As a woman I wish more women looked at scripture and see how Jesus used women for his ministry and be proud. Just because a woman can’t have a title of pastor or preach in church doesn’t mean God can’t use women greatly. He does and has used women to advance the kingdom in many ways without the title of pastor.
Amen!! I’m honored that God put himself in the body of a woman, used women to carry and nurture the least to the greatest mentioned in the Bible, and names women in the geneolgy of the Christ!!!
Just for an example women are the primary caregivers who raise kids who go into the ministry. Every man of God was born of a woman - and I believe raising Godly kids is the most important job in the world.
Women can not preach to men or women, she can teach to women or men if they want to be taught by her , she is not a preacher or pastor to men’s or women’s just a teacher evangelist a help mate to her Husband and a Man pastor at her Church 😊😊😊😊
@@donzellbroadnax1948 To extend Gospels message to unbelievers anyone can do it is just telling people good news. Hey Folks. Listen I have a question. Why would ANYONE want to be a Pastor/Shepherd male or female IF God DID NOT call you ? 🤷🏾♂️ God equips and prepares those whom He calls to preach His Word and Shepherd His people. Finally, I dare say that there are some men who need to get OUT of the pulpit and sit down to learn something. 🙏🏽
Amen, amen and amen! I knew someone who aspired to be a minister. He was unqualified due to the fact that he wasn’t on speaking terms with his mother and won’t talk about it. Get your life right before thinking you can instruct others and wait to be CALLED!
Agree. but scripture says. And yeas some do need to get out and sit and learn the scriptures. Titus 2:3-5 King James Version 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. I think, a reason Paul wrote Timothy & Gitus, because ancient grecian women were similar to today Tituss 2, to teach younger women to become homemakers ? Paul was also after the Corinthians 1 Corinthians 11:14-15 For men you keep hair a certain way Not long...
I was in a friendly convo with a female online once about the passage in Timothy that says husband of 1 wife. Her explanation was that during that time, men were not being monogomous and polygamy was creeping into the church, but women didn't have more than 1 husband, so Paul wouldn't have needed to address the women, only the men....😳😳😳🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ I left the conversation. That was so creatively stupid, I realized she was determined to believe what she wanted to believe.
monogamy was a pagan practice. Jews followed their torah which allowed polygamy. As the letter was written to gentiles, it's unlikely to be about "polygamy creeping in". but this is just guesswork. we simply don't know. we can't outright reject any conjecture. it's no reason to leave a conversation just because you have different opinions.
I am a woman and I will admit I struggled with feeling like I was inferior to the point tears would roll down my eyes when praying about it. I was tempted to still rebel against Gods order despite being born again. All I could think about was the negatives of what could happen in a marriage since I seen it in my own family. But God kept telling me that their are Christian men out there who need wives and I shouldn’t be alone either in these hard times. It’s the same with the church. Women are to support the men and accept that we are not equipped to lead the entire flock.
I understand. There’s this misconception that supporting a husband and raising and nurturing your children is lesser than when in truth; it’s such an important and vital role of the family structure. We focus on the absence of the father and this is valid - but in essence it’s the breakdown of family as God has designed it that hurts the body. Husbands and wives need to be in their roles - it’s an honor to fulfill it and pleasing to the Lord.
@@Janae-rl8pq I have nothing against raising and nurturing children. All I could think about is if a man would abuse me and I would have no where to escape. Plus also my grandma is a example. She is a covet narcissist and completely lost in the world without a husband. After my grandpa died. She was so pathetic that it was like she was a child without parents. She had no biological kids so that probably played a role also but still I don’t want to not be able to function without a husband.
@@InspiralJez I’m a young woman and I currently don’t go to church. The church my mother was trying to get me to go too has mass only on Sundays and I refuse to violate the sabbath. She recommended it since a family friend goes to that church. Other then that I completely submitted to Gods will for my life. I was always off and on about marriage but God kept telling me he wanted me to get married. After that I started to say no and kinda rebel. But of course he reminded me that I submitted to his will for my life and that I may be in for a surprise of what it will be like for me as a wife and mother. I was always the type who is scared to try something new and how I am currently I thought I won’t make a good mother. I always saw myself as cold hearted and blunt but the people around me say I am the sweetest person.
Great video. I once heard TD JAKES push this idea that women should be able to preach and that if women are to be silent , then they should remain silent in every way including with their money. SMH. It was at that moment that I knew the mainstream church was in trouble. I won’t even touch the foolishness TD has gotten himself into recently.
No surprise he ordained Juanita Bynum and she's been lost since then and she didn't need to be pushed for such things she needed repentance as we all do especially based on the issues she had that were never dealt with
The fem movement has made women a shadow of what God made them to be. Women are not made to pastor, MEN are made to lead. May the triune God continue to bless you Corey!
The funny thing is that the things that she said were happening in the Corinthian church perfectly describes today. So is she saying that what Paul said about Corinthians is correct for today as well?
This is true and easily seen, GOD has order in the church and in the family. We see what is happening now as men fail to step up to the plate and women fail to understand their position in the home and in the church.
Why not just say that everything in the bible was only for the time it was written? They just pick and choose what they're comfortable with to bring into today's church. Usually pertaining to what makes them the most money.
Many things in the Bible was for the time it was written and wasn’t meant to carry on later, such as slavery which is both in the old and new testaments but obviously that wasn’t meant to continue up until today
Every instruction or advice recorded in scripture is contextual. You can learn from it for sure, but solving today's problems by blindly following ancient solutions often causes harm.
No, in the New Testament it also says it. You can't go against the scriptures because of your feelings. Jeremiah 17:9 King James Version 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 1 Timothy 2:11-15 King James Version 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. 1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. God doesn't forbid "half his children" from being pastors. He forbids almost 100% from being pastors. What feminists LARPing as Christians don't seem to get it that being a pastor has a ton of requirements. Why do they focus so much on the "must be a man" requirement, and act as if that's the only rule?
God doesn't "forbid" anyone from being anything, people do. God wants all of us to use the gifts he has given us to do good and build up the body of Christ. It has nothing to do with gender - on the contrary, actively promoting workplace discrimination like this speaker only brings disrepute to the way of Christ.
@@MusicalRaichuWork place discrimination? When you use worldly morals and values and impose them on the Church you are anti Christ. Christians are supposed to be led by the Holy Spirit not the spirit that is behind the morals and values of the world namely Satan. @@bonusround5583 I did. I noticed there were women in ministry, including an evangelist and an apostle, and no one blinked an eye. If you think you can hear God telling you women can't be in ministry, then you should have your ears examined ... or what's between them.
@@MusicalRaichu Hilarious, except you’re running the same playbook that heretics do: 1. Change the conversation entirely to fit a new argument unsupported by the prior argument. 2. Attempt to insult or shame the person without using any scripture. Re-read my post and find where I said women shouldn’t be in ministry. Also, the original post isn’t about women “in ministry”. It’s about whether women can have the office of Pastor. There was never a woman that was an apostle so that’s now you violating 1 Cor. 4:6. Many people are disqualified from being a Pastor, not just women. But go on, it’s pretty entertaining that you have no scripture for anything you’re saying.
People don’t WANT to believe that’s what the scripture means, so they’ll come up with anything they can think of to make it mean something else. I remember the late “televangelist” MARCUS LAMB saying once “I like women preachers!” as if that was of any importance. Anyone who disagrees with what God has clearly written IS NOT SAVED.

So to use the statement from Apostle Paul about women not preaching is not an absolute statement because it’s not a command from the Lord it is merely his suggestion due to the fact that they were not leaned yet. It is not a command from God that women cannot preach or teach. It just simply is not.
I read something one time that said ...For God reveals himself in male terms. He is our father, not our mother; our King not our Queen; our husband, not our wife. Peter was chosen to be the first pastor (not the pope) and became the first preacher after pentecost. The foundation of the church was male. Maybe hard to accept for some, but its just the way it is.
Not exactly. God is non-binary with a preferred pronoun "he". The fact that in the kingdom of God men and women are joint heirs has been slowly working its way in society and changing it so that now women can be leaders. Funny it's Christians who oppose the kingdom of God.
That is what separates the scripture from the world. The world will do what they want but if one wants to follow scripture that is what they should do. We live in the world but dont conform to worldly norms. What has happened is that the church has allowed the world to become the norm and left their first love, the word of Christ Jesus.
I’ve always wondered about women pastors that claim to love Gods word, they never preach about the verses that describe who a pastor is supposed to be. If women can be pastors then anyone can be, even people with multiple wives or husbands or gay. Also, it’s a pattern that churches that allow women pastors eventually become very liberal and more focused on “words from God” vs clinging to Gods word.
Wow. I had a conversation about this and I stated women Pastors are ok with the Word of God until they get to Pastoral Episcles. In other words. They love God until he says no.
If it's not in the bibl 3:20 e it should not be practiced by the church. Many women followed Jesus during his ministry but none of them were apostles Deacons or named Pastors
I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God.
Cory, I love your channel and hearing your input. Could you share with me how you see Catherine Cullman as it pertains to her influence in the ministry from a biblical perspective.
Ironically, the methodist church has been ordaining female pastors since John Wesley himself started doing so. In the 1990s there was a womens conference where the women leading the conference outwardly proclaimed that God is a woman named "sophia" which means wisdom in greek. 2000 women attended the event in minneapolis in 1994, it was called the "reimagine" conference, where they did exactly that. Reimagine who God is and spew blasphemy against the Lord. The feminist "reverands" then brought up lesbians and trans "women" on stage and celebrated them. All of that was 30 years ago. None of them were penalized by the United methodist conference, and in fact, there are many female bishops and elders that would 100% support these views. No wonder the UMC is a mess. They did not endure sound doctrine from the beginning simply by ordaining female pastors and allowing them to steer the ship.
And yah going against the scriptures. Yes John Wesley was wrong on women but I think he only allowed them to preach not to be pastors. It was only a few decades ago that the United Methodists allowed women to be pastors, and as you indicate it was quite costly
1 Corinthians 14:33-34 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. With all this confusion, we know who the author is. As in “All” the churches. Argument is settled.
Settled? Don't be so sure. The same letter also says "Any man who prays or prophesies with something on his head shames his head, but any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled shames her head." 11.4 Do you follow that? If not, then why follow 14.34? Incidentally, 11.4 shows a clear example of women talking in church. So how do you resolve the contradiction with "let women keep silence"? "saith the law" ... there is no such "law" in the Bible. That means it's about Roman law. We are no longer under Roman jurisdiction.
Part 11 PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 14 In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that women were still under the Old Covenant laws. Yet there was no Old Covenant law that states that women should be silent. Then the daughters of Zelophehad...came forward. They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, before the leaders, and all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, “Our father died in the wilderness, yet he was not among the group of those who gathered together against the Lord, in the group of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be withdrawn from among his family simply because he had no son? Give us property among our father’s brothers.” So Moses brought their case before the Lord. Then the Lord said to Moses, “The daughters of Zelophehad are right about their statements. You shall certainly give them hereditary property among their father’s brothers... -excerpts Numbers 27 These women were not rebuked, even though they spoke before everyone, including Moses. What they asked for was granted to them, because God agreed with them.

When I search the New Testament, I don’t see anywhere that God announced, in any fashion, that it changed. It gives the specific reason why women are forbidden to be pastors. @@KyrieEleisonMaranatha notice how you didn’t include that Apollo knew only of the immersion of John and the facts about Jesus (in other words he did not know of the immersion of the Holy Spirit of Christ and knew facts of Christ) and also the fact that the scripture states “but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God in fuller detail.” So she didn’t herself do the teaching, at the very least ‘they’ explain further detail to him- notice their isn’t an office of teacher or preacher or an authority given- they were providing more testimony to him about who Christ is and what the true immersion is. Anyone can proclaim/testify of Christ, she wasn’t in the office of teacher.
You notice how during this whole diatribe she's not going lie upon line precept upon precept in the scripture! If it's in the text, which it isn't then preach through it be an expositor of Scripture.
I've noticed that a lot of women who are either preaching or speaking at a church event are now doing it in a much lower & heavy toned voice. It's like someone has told them don't preach in that high pitch woman's voice, but drop it to sound like a man to be accepted.
[Bible] I Samuel 15:22 ”Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice”
What's up with these ppl from the ages of 18 to 30 that say "woman" instead of "women"???? The word "woman" is SINGULAR! The word "women" is PLURAL!! My goodness!!!
So if the women have to ask their husbands at home to learn anything, I would think that is specifically talking about married women, so what about the unmarried women ,who do they ask?
Hey Folks. Obviously there are a lot of OPINIONS on this topic. Believers should ALWAYS focus on God’s Word. Listen, both women and men have a role in the body of Christ. Interestingly we seem to forget that the Lord chose a woman/female to take part in the Greatest Story EVER Told: The Birth of Christ PEACE 🙏🏽
My opinion: I wish folks - men especially would constantly teach/ preach on how men - mainly husbands are to treat their wives etc, if men would preach/ teach on that constantly as they do how my God can't use women to tell the good news of Christ inside a physical building maybe we wouldn't have so much abuse, divorce etc,. The only thing a woman can do is cook, clean, be an usher etc, according to mens teaching on what women can do. How is a man going to get to heaven when Christ is coming back for his Bride - men are not brides. I guess if the mighty God I serve - can't use a woman to preach ( proclaim) the good news of Christ - in the physical building - then I guess they should stand outside. Thankfully a woman can Teach the Word. Which is vitally important - teach so the new convert can grow and teach others. I know One plants, one waters, but God gives the increase. I'll stop here so its not too long. I already know - some will say, shes not saved, not going by the scripture, Satan has blinded her eyes etc, which is far from the truth. But we need to move to other subjects - we still on milk. 😊
First of all, the bride of Christ is the saints. Also, a women’s work in the home is the most important role. Sadly, you’ve listened to a negative view of our roles. I come from a very traditional family, but got a career. 2 young kids, husband away a lot. It was too heavy load to bare. Add to that all the other duties I had to do. It was a choice, but I see now there’s a price to pay. Unfortunately our culture has made it so one person can’t financially keep a home going. I think as the kids get more older, it’s fine to work out of the home. Or have a home business, so you can not give your kids to daycare. Look at the school system now, such a mess!
Isaiah 8:3, And I went unto the prophetess, and she conceived and bare a son. He was a prophet and she a prophetess, which is a part of the 5-fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, etc). Furthermore....Luke 2:36, And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel. If a woman can be a prophetess like her husband, she can be a pastor like her husband...Mic Drop!!! Class dismissed.
Do you know what a prophet is? do you know what prophecy is? It simply means to inform, to tell, to give a revelation (of God). Here we are speaking of the roles whereby authority is given over the body. There is no such position available to women. czcams.com/video/ifyilJ8LxZA/video.html
@@judithmargret5972 No such thing as a fivefold ministry, Ephesians 4:10-16 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. not in my mind, it's in the bible...double mic drop. Study before you drop any mics.
@@smartchristians Then the bible is lying? Is God lying, say it, I dare you. The role of authority was given to a woman (the prophetess like it was to her husband Isaiah, that is undeniable. Being a prophet as a man carries the same authority as the woman. "A smart Christian", that doesn't believe Isaiah:3 or Luke 2:36 is just stupid, either you are going to take all of the bible or none, we don't pick or choose what we want to receive or except. god said this is he lying or am I, for telling you what he said. I crushed your "no such position available to women", that's why you want to debate the definition of a prophet. Stay on topic. It is evident that you do not have the indwelling of the holy spirit, or that's not real either. Get the indwelling of the Holy spirit, then we can talk, you are a SADducee because you don't believe in the spirit world, and that is SAD, but changeable. Finally, you are arrogant and I can smell it through the screen. You acknowledge the pastor but not the prophet, that tells me everything I need to know, you only want to acknowledge what you can see, hear, touch , taste, feel, that is flesh or carnal, get in the spirit and most important get the Holy Spirit, your life will never be the same, he is outstanding.
@lenalove8138 Actually there are only believed to be 4 as pastor and teacher are thought to be the same thing. Also if you go to Ephesians 2:19-22, you will see that apostles and prophets are mentioned, as being the foundation of the church. We don't keep building the foundation, that is completed. So no, as there are no prophets and apostles today, there is no five fold ministry except in charismatics imaginations, and if there were, there would need to be apostles and prophets in every single church.
Which law is Paul referring to when he says “just as the law says” in verse 34? Also, when I go back and read the passages before him addressing the women he states, “”If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.“ 1 Corinthians 14:23, 26-31 KJV What stands out to me is he addresses the men saying that if someone else is speaking , the others need to keep silent… and further explains it is so that "all may learn”. So when he addresses the women, stating they should keep silent and learn from their husbands at home, is he not also referring to the times of “giving a prophesy, a psalm (which is a song), a revelation, a doctrine”? If this is so, God also states that in the last days he will pour of his spirit on all flesh, and our sons and daughters will prophesy…..( Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17). All responses are welcome

Part 3 PAUL CONTRADICTS HIS OWN TEACHING ON TONGUES AND PROPHECY So then, tongues are for a sign, ..to unbelievers; ...and all the people speak in tongues, and ...unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are insane? ...but prophecy is not for unbelievers, but for those who believe. But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever ...enters...so he will fall on his face and worship God... In the Law it is written: “By men of strange tongues and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people, and even so they will not listen to Me,” says the Lord. So then, tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is not for unbelievers, but for those who believe. Therefore if the whole church gathers together and all the people speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are insane? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 14 NASB
Not only is this going on at my church, but our bishop said “Mary preached” as his belief for women pastors. He also addressed it in a message one Sunday when I wasn’t there 😢. I asked one of the elders about it and his defense was to read John 20:18 which I already knew was being misinterpreted. When I mentioned what Paul said in Timothy his response shocked me. He said it wasn’t a salvation issue so it doesn’t matter. 😮 I no longer attend his men’s fellowship because I can’t trust his theology or thinking.

If people manage to be saved because of a woman teaching, that doesn't mean it's okay. It just means that God was able to make good out of sin, just like he did with Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery, or with Jesus on the cross. God's ability to use sin for good certainly doesn't excuse the actions of the sinning party.
@@victorylapp 1 Cor 11.4 gives an example of women speaking in the very same church. and also gives an instruction few would follow today. you can't take 2000 year old advice and blindly impose it on people today.
It's all about God's established order... period. God designated the man as head (leader) of the woman. As God has showed us, woman was made from man. This was God's doing. When Adam chose to follow Eve in eating of the forbidden fruit, everything was turned upside down for eternity. He made a disastrous choice in following his wife's lead instead of God's. When Abraham chose to listen to his wife and impregnate her maid instead of believing God to provide them a son, it set in motion the generational hatred that we are seeing in the Middle East. He should have reminded her that "God will provide." When we choose to ignore God's designated order, we do so at our own, as well as our children's and their children's children's detriment.
It drives me nuts when people talking about women (plural) refer to them as woman (singular) like she keeps doing. I know its silly but its basic English.
Women want to preach until it’s time to get out into the streets and preach to the wolves 😂. Nah get out that pulpit and really go to the lost. Question: Can a woman give a message in church but not be the pastor?
God can use anyone he wants to preach and teach his word. God doesn't distribute his gifts by gender. Both women and men have the ability and responsibility to communicate God's word
The Bible is clear that a man is head of his home and the home is a representation of His true church; along with other Scriptures its clear that women are not to be in charge or teach men but instead teach young ladies how to be Godly...if in fact women being pastors was God Almighty decision than their homes etc wouldn't be destroyed as we see in the physical....anytime we go against God's order deadly consequences will follow let alone eternal Hell

As with many subject matter context is important; (if those women at that time were trying to bring in divine feminism as women are today) gathering this context does not add to or take away from the scriptures. If the women were promoting Diana as a goodess they were trying to put women before men: the temple of Diana, the broided hair (indicate the sex worker) point to what was going on and obviously Paul was addressing the matter; that keeping the matter in context. Not every detail is given in the Scriptures. If further studies proves that this is what was going on in the culture then it is relevant. I'm not saying any of this to agree with Krick, and I'm not in here caping for her.
This is why the church is so divided. We all want to change the word of God to our own deceiving ideological spiritual ignorance . Who are we to question God about His decisions?
As a woman I wish more women looked at scripture and see how Jesus used women for his ministry and be proud. Just because a woman can’t have a title of pastor or preach in church doesn’t mean God can’t use women greatly. He does and has used women to advance the kingdom in many ways without the title of pastor.

Woman can preach the Gospel to unbeleivers but not to shepherd the congregation or teach the doctrine to the church.

Faithful pastors start from a foundation of "it is written"; Krick starts with "it doesn't make sense." That's her problem right there in a nutshell.
Yes, Mr. Corey, Women are Not called to be Pastors! If a Bishop ordains a woman to be a Pastor, he has disobeyed GOD. Word of Truth!
I was in a friendly convo with a female online once about the passage in Timothy that says husband of 1 wife. Her explanation was that during that time, men were not being monogomous and polygamy was creeping into the church, but women didn't have more than 1 husband, so Paul wouldn't have needed to address the women, only the men....😳😳😳🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I left the conversation.
She had no biological kids so that probably played a role also but still I don’t want to not be able to function without a husband.

Man of GOD you should have started at vs 32 where it states " as in all the churches of the saints".

Such a good job in explaining what all too many pastors are too afraid to explain or don’t understand themselves!
Thanks so much Corey. I always learn in context from you.
Finally! Amen!
Most Christians don't preach God's word, case in point the Trinity

Incidentally, 11.4 shows a clear example of women talking in church. So how do you resolve the contradiction with "let women keep silence"?

PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT
As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.
-excerpt 1 Corinthians 14
In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is
referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that women were
still under the Old Covenant laws.

Problem is, it’s not about culture or era; it’s about creation. Also, whenever God mandated a “temporary“ statute or command, He would always follow up with clearly announcing when it changed. When I search the New Testament, I don’t see anywhere that God announced, in any fashion, that it changed. It gives the specific reason why women are forbidden to be pastors. What's up with these ppl from the ages of 18 to 30 that say "woman" instead of "women"???? The word "woman" is SINGULAR! The word "women" is PLURAL!! My goodness!!!
Lol
Amen
With you on the women pastors thing, but according to 1 Corinthians 11 women did pray and prophesy in church gatherings.
So if the women have to ask their husbands at home to learn anything, I would think that is specifically talking about married women, so what about the unmarried women ,who do they ask?
God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews Chapter 13 : 8.
Each member of the body have a purpose, not all members have the same purpose.

Amen brother Corey.
How many ordinances are given besides Communion and Baptism?
The church gets caught up on issues that are not heaven or hell issues.
What if the woman is single ?
That’s not the discussion.
I realize exactly what the discussion was. Just offering an opinion.
Where is the rest of this video?
Because I didn't get to hear the scriptures at all. 😞
No such thing as a five fold ministry. Mike drop...end of story.
That's a term that lives in charismatics minds, no-where else.
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.“
1 Corinthians 14:23, 26-31 KJV
What stands out to me is he addresses the men saying that if someone else is speaking , the others need to keep silent… and further explains it is so that "all may learn”.

-excerpts Numbers 27
These women were not rebuked, even though they spoke before everyone, including Moses.
What they asked for was granted to them, because God agreed with them.
Part 3
PAUL CONTRADICTS HIS OWN TEACHING ON TONGUES AND PROPHECY
So then, tongues are for a sign, ..to unbelievers;
...and all the people speak in tongues, and ...unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are insane?
...but prophecy is not for unbelievers, but for those who believe.

1 Timothy 2:12-15 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence
13. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
That text is ambiguous and confusing. The words "woman/man" also mean "husband/wife". What does chilbearing have to do with what people do in church? Furthermore, advice suitable for one historical context does not mean it carries over to today when so much is different - "for freedom Christ has set us free."

But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.“
I Corinthians 14:34-38
If people manage to be saved because of a woman teaching, that doesn't mean it's okay. It just means that God was able to make good out of sin, just like he did with Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery, or with Jesus on the cross. God's ability to use sin for good certainly doesn't excuse the actions of the sinning party.

Amen, such a potent reality....when we go our own way destruction occurs and many of us need to acknowledge that it never ends well

Hi Corey can women serve communion?
It drives me nuts when people talking about women (plural) refer to them as woman (singular) like she keeps doing. I know its silly but its basic English.
When you find a woman Levi priest in the Bible you let me know!! You won’t find 1️⃣. You can’t be the head at home and be the tail at church ⛪️
Preaching vs spreading gospel
The Bible is clear that a man is head of his home and the home is a representation of His true church; along with other Scriptures its clear that women are not to be in charge or teach men but instead teach young ladies how to be Godly...if in fact women being pastors was God Almighty decision than their homes etc wouldn't be destroyed as we see in the physical....anytime we go against God's order deadly consequences will follow let alone eternal Hell
Evangelizing as a women is fine. Teaching other women is also ok. But in the church setting, men lead. Makes sense to me. Even women in our church say, it’s better that way as women can take over! lol 😂

Apparently there is some confusion with verse 11 with the
translators. Yet we see "... the damsels playing with timbrels."
in verse 25. (Timbrels, probably were tambourines.)
Putting verses 11 and 24, 25, and 26 together, even in the KJV,
provides a decent amount of evidence that verse 11 is about women,
even in this gender neutral (KJV) translation.
