    I’ve travelled on this service a few times but never filmed it. Maybe I should one day
    Great video by the way! I know it’s not full 90mph but try one of these on the Marlow Donkey. All sections get jointed track noise including the Marlow stub but the Bourne End - Maidenhead trunk line (the branch that didn’t used to be a branch) also gets speed as well as jointed track! You should give it a try, I reckon you’d enjoy it!

      Yes, they have the same Perkins engines. The whole Welsh fleet and a small number with Northern. 158815-862.

      The Class 165 and 166 DMUs use the same Perkins 2006 TWH engine as the Class 158/8 units 815 to 862, identical engine!
      imo the turbos sound better, as obviously the exhaust is not the same shape so the reverberation is a bit different.
