This is the first time I have see anyone just casually be sponsored by Sony and show off a dang PS5. Just goes to show this man is so unique, even Sony recognizes it
I’m almost through the video now, this feels a little rushed, like this wasn’t the usual analysis or breakdown. There’s only Information and summary, I hope this didn’t feel like a forced project. That’d make me sad to think such a fun story felt forced to discuss.

This is the only golden goose Sony has now after westernization other than insomniac's marvel IP but that is controlled by Disney so not really Sony's IP.
And it has been remastered 3 times in the last decade from Sony/ND and they haven't been working on any active projects other than that makes u wonder if they really recovered from the fiasco that was lou2 and actually made the return on investment after they lost 80% of their dev team and production team.
Other than the Show which is just recreation of the game in the theme of movie "Chernobyl" that's all.
So kinda makes u think how much of a problem westernization for sony and the lou2 was for ND that they haven't been able to work on major projects after 2 and even botched up the PC port of Last of us which was their big chance to draw in a new audience after the show.

It's interesting that they asked a horror movie explainer to do it. Figured they'd stick with gaming CZcamsrs.

Love the side quest you're doing. If you're looking for another great story to go through, you should watch "Raised by Wolves." Fantastic story, great graphics, amazingly written lines from some characters. I think you'd like it. Went through TLOU many times on the PS3 and PS4. Game story explained would be super cool! One game I highly recommend for this is Soma. Probably one of my most favorite story games out there.

You also have to take into consideration if humanity is even worth saving. If I was in Joel’s shoes, after all I’ve been through and seeing what humanity is capable of doing to each other, I’d do the same as well. Saving the person you care for the most is worth sacrificing humanity’s fate.
You’re absolutely right. That is a point I think people don’t think about often. Almost EVERYONE has tried to hurt Ellie on their journey to save the world. When he learns the price for a “cure” is her life, it’s not shocking he makes the choice he did. Most of the world is simply unworthy of Ellie’s sacrifice.
Mankind stole everything from Joel, so he took away Mankind’s last hope. After playing the game/watching the show I can’t say he was wrong. I would probably make the same choice as him. Both choices have their sound reasons, but in the end I stand firm in saying that we don’t murder children to save others.
